That's Murphy's thing because he can't really take defenders on and beat them to the byline. Elanga on the other hand, is very good at doing that and should play his own game. He's created loads of chances this season doing just that. He'll be fine.

Funnily enough should have had an assist last night when he played in Osula shortly after his first goal, and he got a good strike in with his left that was saved, and he really should have scored when he was put through on goal too. Even when he's just had an okay showing he is still a big threat to make something happen. Going to be a big asset for the team over the season.

Agreed. Think Barnes on the left and Osula on the right, like we ended last night, really fit that wide forward role that would benefit massively from what Woltemade does.

Acting as though they've never seen a striker that drops off and links play before. The team is getting more and more accustomed to him and will start finding him on cutbacks when he arrives later on in moves he's started off, and he'll start banging in the goals soon enough. Then they'll stop saying he's not a striker.

Couldn't understand why they kept messing about when it came to the Guehi transfer, over just an additional £5 million. Ended up meaning they went too late and it then broke down at the death. Konate and Gomez tend to pick up injuries themselves and so it's going to be tricky with Leoni getting hurt.

You can see he comes alive when he receives the ball to feet out wide, and he then wants to take players on. That instinct works against him when the ball is played into him with his back to goal in tighter areas. Seems to try to do too much too quickly. When used upfront probably want someone playing off him, and he should mostly look to get in behind and down the channels.

I like him coming inward from those wider areas better. Looks a lot more natural and comfortable in those areas. Still a bit too excitable and loose as a central striker. Glad he got two goals. Kind of game he should be able to come in and produce in.

The quality of chances went up considerably as soon as he came on, because every ball into him just stuck and the decision making was excellent with it. Things stopped breaking down as much before we could create a clear chance. This is a serious footballer. I like him a lot.

For match sharpness. Hasn't played since Thursday, and we don't play now till Sunday. This was a largely comfortable match with little defensive intensity needed. Nice opportunity for a run out and some much needed work on creating chances in the final third.

I enjoyed the calm measured passing from the back from these three so so much. Looked so good. Was a great foundation for so much of the build up play. Thiaw plays some tremendous line breaking passes into midfield.

He has real technical quality and a great brain too. What a signing man. Took a while to get there with the striker, but looking like it will be well worth it. Lovely to watch.

Lovely run out for the players and always thankful for no injuries. Nice warm up before the Arse come to town.

You can see at heart Osula wants to square people up and kill them one on one Wish we'd feature him more in the wide forward role.

Woltemade is such a fantastic focal point. The team is getting a better understanding of if it too. Some fantastic movement and forward runs off him.
