Actually, surprised he hasn't said anything about Anita yet ...

Interviewed on NUFC TV, this is what Siem De Jong had to say;
“The last three years we talked to Newcastle, that was important (Newcastle’s longstanding interest), it was also good for me that the manager is still here.
“I spoke to him (Alan Pardew) once and Luuk also told me all about him, plus he spoke to our manager a couple of times.
“I have a feeling he is an honest trainer and I hope we have a good couple of years.
“Luuk has said that Newcastle is a great club, a great atmosphere in a great stadium.
“He said it is a big club in the world and he hopes that one day he comes back, maybe with me, so we will see.”
Three years?! My goodness ... well it looks like the monitoring over long periods at least flatters the players some.
Honest trainer huh ... well, let's see if you still feel that way when Colback keeps getting in the team ahead of Vurn!

We won't go for Grenier anymore IMO.
Cabella definitely plays out wide a lot, and has the pace, trickery and delivery for it.
-
Belgium will definitely beat Argentina IMO.
-
all in for ass?! With a bunch of dudes in the pic? I would have called in sick for that photo shoot.

£6m is ridiculous tbf. Takes so long to get these bargain deals done though. That's the downside.
-
Lukaku getting it in. Cheeky git.
-
Puma are an absolute mess. Bleurgh.
-
Still unveiling players with last season's shirt.
Such a nonsensical club at the minute.
Are we the only ones yet to reveal what our home strip for next season will be?
-
I'm sure the forum will get round to the discussion of Cabella vs De Jong, but the reality is we were only interested in the cheaper one.
Glad we've replaced Cabaye, but Pardews s*** team set ups and reactionary tactics are here to stay for the foreseeable unfortunately.
Yeah, however, I think I'm more comfortable with Siem, because he is a bit more gritty, and so it is extremely unlikely he's going to be left out of the team, or faffed about with, due to Pardew thinking he isn't hard enough.

Suarez, Messi and Neymar in the same team.
Imagine if he bit Neymar, it would be like a amputation.
The fallout if that were to happen.
Hope he bites Pepe instead. Should be fun.
Definitely checking on the odds of him biting Pepe in El Classico next season.
At the very least Pepe will pretend to be bitten if they clash. Will check odds on that too.

Love the bitterness and ignorance coming from mackems on FB this morning. Bizarrely most seem to think nobody on Tyneside has ever seen the bloke play, they go on as if Ajax was just a cleaning product and not one of Europes most famous club(well if the even knew what hygiene was in Mordor)
Don't they always say this crap? Besides, who do they ever sign that's known?
Anyway, one other thing that I like about this signing is the fact that he's a good leader, and a strong character. We've missed these qualities since Cabaye left. Can see him picking up the mantle.
Really, really hope Anita stays in the team, because it will be good to have a couple of players that are very comfortable moving the ball around well, and also moving well themselves off the ball.

I feel for you.

Raylor is shocking. I hope he's released.

Champions League starts tonight. and same with Europa League.
Notable ties of tonight:
CL
FC Santa Coloma (Moldava) vs. Banants (Armenia)
La Fiorita (San Marino) vs. Levadia Tallinn (Estonia)
EL
Shkëndija (Macedonia) vs. Zimbru Chișinău (Moldova)
Sliema Wanderers (Malta) vs. Ferencváros (Hungary)
Jeunesse Esch (Luxamburg) vs. Dundalk (Ireland)
What is this nonsense?!

Santon to the right please. No more cutting in from the full back position. It's shite.

How slow of mind was averting hen then. Could literally see his brain malfunction before our very eyes.
There's your proof
jerk.
-
Whaaaaaaaaaaaat?!!!!
-
USA will score another.
-
Lukaku feasting on these tired defenders man.
Huge respect for USA though, damn. So much heart.
-
How slow of mind was Vertonghen then. Could literally see his brain malfunction before our very eyes.
Not as slow of mind as averting hen
You have no proof!!!
-
People just bouncing off Lukaku man. Playing pinball with these Yankee Doodles.
-
How slow of mind was Vertonghen then. Could literally see his brain malfunction before our very eyes.

Ah, cool. Really worried about Anita's place in the team next season, because of that Colback thing. Colback has played out wide too right? I would rather he replaced Gouffran than Anita in the team if anything. We'll need Anita linking up with Siem from midfield.
