  1. SSN are concentrating on our record since the fraud has not been allowed on the touchline stating that's the reason for our awful form! Absolute clueless the media!

This is why we need to take a massive hammering tonight, to prove they are all clueless b******s.

And then a loss against Cardiff, with the inevitable infinity to nil on the last day at Anfield.

  2. Disgrace that Chelsea spend so much on players to have them used as barricades. The man does get results though, but it's quite ridiculous.

Not surprising that they have been susceptible to losing to minnows this season, as these are games they have to take the initiative, and they struggle with this.

  3. Tiote needs to be in a 3 man midfield with good users of the ball around him. For example, in a midfield alongside Anita and Cabaye he worked really well.

Ultimately pardew has played him as a midfield 2 with anita beside him, and IMO he is far less effective in such a setup.

Pardew is ultimately to blame, because even with Cabaye gone, he should still be in a 3 with Anita and Sissoko, and be encouraged to keep things simple with the ball.

  4. The Sunday Sun claims: "Newcastle United are set to abandon their foreign transfer policy and buy British this summer - with Jack Colback, Dele Alli and Aaron Cresswell on their hitlist.

"Mike Ashley has become disillusioned with the faltering success of recruiting from abroad.

"His last 12 signings have been from overseas but Hatem Ben Arfa, Sylvain Marveaux and Gabriel Obertan are expected to leave Tyneside this summer.

"And the Toon have begun scouring the domestic market for replacements."

    :anguish:

"It's the lazy foreigners Lord Ashley, they want to lose you money"

Pardew has finally worn them all down regarding the English players thing I see, after bleating on about it so long.

It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out should he stay in charge. It's his last big excuse, and there will be no excuse after this, as it will be all on him.

I just pray to god that Carr is still the one pushing the recruitment drive, and still gets in quality wherever it is from, or we will be left with a team full of players that aren't good enough.

What kind of manager in this day and age is unable to work with players form other countries?

  5. The media are so laughable. As if f***ing Manchester United would fall for the old 'caretaker won three matches so let's give him the job full time!!!!!!11111' horseshit.

Fergie apparently has said it should be Giggs too, all this does it nicely undermine the next manager and if Giggs is kept on have him backstab the next guy too.

    You serious about Fergie?

You'd think he would have learnt his lesson.

  6. He's been in Chicken Cottage today like. Howeh Hatem, even I wouldn't go in there man.

Does the club not have a dietician or something? Chicken Cottage?! Wow!

  7. Ultimately, if you have more talented players I think Martinez does more with them. If you have less talented players then Moyes will do more with them. This is ultimately down to each individual's approach and philosophy.

I think our team is pretty talented to be honest, and not far off Everton's in terms of ability. Martinez all the way.

  8. "Big admirers of Shola Ameobi"

Just think about that for goodness sake

Don't rate Marv or Ben Arfa one jot, but are big admirers of Shola. Not just admirers. Big ones.

  9. Is Happy Face that young performance manager guy that has to sit beside Pardew every game?

Seems like he's been driven over the edge, and is now unleashing all the "real" data he's been gathering.

  10. Worth pointing out that Martinez has achieved what he did while losing one of Everton's best performers last season in Fellaini, as well as their best defender in Jagielka. He's also brought through Barkley and Stones, who you can't say were guarantedd stars, but both have featured heavily. Let's not pretend he just threw in Lukaku on top of this outstanding team okay?

  11. I think people are going way, way overboard with Martinez like. He's had one season where he's gone into a team that already had things that were put in place by Moyes. I think on a level playing field I would go with Moyes based purely on his long record and Martinez possibly being a flash in the pan. Wigan were s*** and I don't care what anyone says otherwise, you're just wrong.

Having said that, a Martinez style manager, over a Moyes style manager is exactly what we need to wake us up at the moment. The excitement needs to come back drastically, because even when we've got results it's still almost always been turgid, boring and desperate.

    Wow ...

  12. Lukaku was out for a while too, and Naismith slotted in and performed.

I can only imagine how awful Naismith would be in our team if we had signed him.

We'd have all been pissed off in the first place, had he been signed. The n we would have been even more mad, once he was playing the defensive winger role a la Jonas and Gouffran.
