Hmmm ... so Liverpool lack depth and are a one man team.
How many games did Suarez miss at the start of the season?
How long was Coutinho out for?
How long has Sturridge been gone for now?
Gerrard has missed the last few too, and they're still ticking along.
Hey, I understand people don't like to see them do well, but the fact is they are really good right now.
They will further strengthen in January too.
They'll be right there till the end.

They have had a great season and this is the best they have played since Evans was in charge in terms of football, but I can't help but still feel that Rodgers is a bit of a fake and is currently winging it. Remove Suarez and they are just another Swansea. Or maybe not, maybe they are the real deal...
We play absolutely nothing like Swansea.
It's quite nice to almost everyone and their dogs expect us to lose the next 2 matches. Means we'll be under little pressure, and hopefully we'll thrive under it. Haven't lose 2 in a row under Rodgers, so fingers crossed the trend continues.
They're all just nervous because they were so wrong about Rodgers.
As I stated from the start, you will challenge for the title till the very end.
Especially after you further strengthen in January, as your owners have consistently backed the manager, and will be excited about your progress.
I'm jealous.

Arsenal really have to sign a better striker than Giroud in Jan if they want to win the league.
Yep. It's not necessarily that he's poor (he's not but when you're up against Aguero/Negredo and Suarez/Sturridge amongst your competitors...) but he is literally all they've got unless you count the Danish Shola. They can't mix it up at all.
They should go for Ba.
Also not good enough at that level. I maintain that we're his level.
What does that even mean? The guy scored 13 goals in an utterly abysmal Newcastle team (by January). He would score for fun at Arsenal.
Don't agree. Yes, we were poor, but we played with him as a focal point. It doesn't translate to goals at a higher level. Andy Johnson, Darren Bent, Yakubu are examples of players banging them in s*** teams. It happens and means nothing imo.
That's a fair argument but Ba is clearly on another level to those players. I'd bite my fingers off to have him back here, I genuinely think he's one of the best strikers in the league.
Heard a Chelsea fan on 606 a couple of weeks ago say "... and Ba, who is never a Premiership player"
Don't know they're f***ing born, man.
Crazy stuff.

Arsenal went for Ba and Mourinho blocked it. Then hardly ever plays him.

I love Back to the future by the way, and so appreciated the reference KI.

Kaka talks like he has The Sports Almanac from Back to the Future. In reality you just need to go back to the doctors.
They just hired Tim Sherwood. I'm not the one that needs the doctor trust me.

AVB clearly had p*ssed in the chips. It's mid season no one of any real standing (with PL experience) is available, also consider the risk of a foreign manager coming in now to a new league and with a squad that is still bedding in. Levy likes Sherwood (allegedly) so gave him the gig, he probably won't do too much harm and he might actually provide some entertainment after the stilted football AVB was overseeing. If it doesn't work out then Sherwood gets binned at the end of the season on a cheap payoff. I can see the sense given the circumstances.
Levy gets some stuff right at Spurs (commercially mostly and getting value in the transfer market) but sweet Jesus he's made some absolute f*ck ups when it comes to the way he hires and fires managers.....
The Spurs gig is a huge one. I don't care what the circumstances are, you don't hand it to some cocky youth manager that's done f*** all.
Makes the club look a bloody joke.
Maybe he's really good, though? Might be inspired. Of course we'd like to see it all end in flames, but who knows for now.
The only thing that's weird is how soon they've done it.
The guy has already hitched his wagon to Adebayor, which proves he doesn't know what he's doing.
He's dead meat.

Had the youth team dominating everyone
My God ... There is clutching at straws, and then there is that.
-
Mourinho should be fucking ashamed.
Mata stuck on the bench and h serves up this hideous mess.
-
This desperation to appoint an English man never ceases to amaze me, particularly as there are none qualified for the gig.
They all want a stab at the big time without earning it. This Sherwood clown had the gall to ask for the job having managed no club at any level. Has he even been a number 2? Unreal.
Amazingly, they have actually given it to him.
-
Transfer committee
They let Pards sit in on the first 5 mins then dismiss him so they can start having proper discussions.
-
Giroud so clumsy man. What an awful strike on his strong foot.
-
Ivanovic is a prick like.
Has a horrible fat arse.
What have you been looking at?
Are you even watching the football? Ewww.
-
What a bunch of pansies.
-
Sherwood is going to isolate all those pretty boy foreign attacking midfielders straight away. What a waste of money.
One big and one little man upfront. two wingers and two hard man midfielders.
This is going to be crazy.

To the spurs forums.
Right behind you

The good thing is the resounding success the players recently bought have been, should at least end any previous differences or squabbles regarding recruitment.
Who was the last player bought that has been a real let down?
-
Phillips on the bench for them. Don't even think about it.

We will buy in January from France.
-
Capello would be a monumental cock up for Spurs. Boring, boring football. Just a grizzled AVB.
If they go for Laudrup I'd be extremely jealous.
-
We will sign players in January like we always do. It's when we shop.
-
Not one of Spurs signings this summer has looked worth a lick so far.
They had a ton of dough, did some major investing, but seemingly f***ed up royally.
They also lost their best player by some distance..
Man they should have made sure to get at least a couple of impact players for that money they spent.
It's looking like it was a disastrous summer of shopping, they went to all the wrong stores.
The other games today - 2013/14
