  1. I really hope he succeeds because i'm convinced he has the ability even at this level. You don't lose the ability to do some of the stuff he did last year. I think it's all in his head. Bet there's very few Premier league wingers who will give Jose Enrique the torrid time that he did last season.

I agree. He looks a bit nervous. Its like he's hesitant to try stuff. Not trying to take his man on as often as he should and a lot of times passes the ball off too quickly. Hopefully he'll get it out of his system with more games.

  2. Whilst Babel > Routledge, Ryan Babel is a complete f***ing moron. His twitter patter is beyond terrible and he deserves to rot in Liverpool's reserves.

So you'd pass on the opportunity to get Babel because "his twitter patter is beyond terrible". Brilliant. I mean it makes all the sense in the world! Nolan's awesome patter and banter clearly makes for one hell of a footballer. I mean come on! The Nolan chicken dance after the penalty? Priceless stuff. Just what every team needs for world dominance. I can totally see where you are coming from.

Did you even read his post? There's always one.

Yes I did read it. The point being that Ryan Babel's "patter" has nothing to do with anything. I highly doubt his poor patter makes him a f***ing moron either. You're the one who doesn't get it pal.

So just to clarify where does SEMTEX say: 'I wouldn't sign Babel because his patter is s***, I'd rather have Nolan'?

Well the discussion is about getting Babel right? SEMTEX acknowledges that he is a better player than Routledge, but who deserves (seriously?!) to rot in Liverpool's reserves because of his terrible "patter". If he's rotting in Liverpool's reserves I fail to see how he could then play for Newcastle simultaneously.

I think your reading into his statement a little too far. Calm down dear!

I wasn just having a bit of a dig. Just remember similar comments about people not wanting Prince Boateng over the summer because he was a prick etc. Just find it all really harsh.

  6.

Like it when we sign these gangsters. The more the merrier.

Why are brits so scared of/intimated by black people?

I find the whole thing hilarious.

    f***ing hell.

I know he's black, but it doesn't mean he is in a gang, or has a rap video out, or likes big bootys, or loves chicken etc etc etc.

  7. Cant believe this guy is our captain. We need someone who gets the players motivated and puts in a cracking performance to be an example to the other players. If Nolan cant do that at home against Stoke then we have absolutely no hope.

Yup, instead he spends his time on the pitch clowning around and being goofy. A silly, fat mess of a player.

  8. A pathetic performance by us today. Our strike force make me laugh and cry at the same time.

    How were Nsofor and VDV?

Obinna very good. Always looked dangerous, bullied are backline, good signing for West Sham. VdV was also good and our best player until he got injured in the 26th minute. Then he picked up an injury and wasn't the same.

Redknapp has made some bizzare decisions this season. Ranging from playing Roman Pavlychenko away from home, taking off Lennon in loads of games and playing narrow, keep using that invisible s**** Dos Santos as a sub, keep using the cartwheeling gimp as a sub, not bringing in a striker this transfer window, selling Taarabt.

Very, very surprised bu the Taarabt sale. He is absolutely dominating the championship. Incredibly talented, and doing this under Neil Warnock of all people! Spurs will definitely regret the decision to sell him for sure. Sold him for peanuts too.

  9. Shearer's embarrassing himself a bit making comments like, "No one really knows a great deal about Ben Arfa..."

He's a full French international, Al.  Watch a little football from time to time and you learn lots of neat stuff.

I think we'd all be a bit surprised if we really knew how many British managers were this uneducated. You always here them making disparaing remarks regarding buying foreigners. Insinuating they don't understand the commitment in the English game and the passion etc. It's why a good number don't end up doing as well as they probably should. The confidence in them isn't totally there. For example, Coloccini and Enrique would have long been jettisoned at most other clubs, but they have proven to be top players.

Is that why there are hardly any foreign players in the PL?

They like buying them just so they can moan about them afterwards I guess.

  10. Have just watched it on Football First. How biased was the co-commentator?! I know he used to play for them, but jeez...

Just made it all the more sweeter. His comments were really embarrassing, came accross as immature and childish he was that biased.

  12. Just watching the actual game now. Tiote is everything we needed in midfield, absolutely nailed it with that signing. That goal by Ben Arfa was unbelievably explosive, an absolute cannon.

The most crucial thing about Ben Arfa and Tiote is how much they want and demand the ball and look to do something positive with it. We haven't had enough players with this mindset and the ability to execute for some time.

Also have to say that although a bonafide Nolan hater, he played well today, and did look fitter and definitely more mobile. Maybe he just didn't have to work as hard tracking back with the machine that is Tiote back there. Tiote's impact in this regard can't be underestimated. I think he certainly allowed for Nolan and Barton also, to play much better.

Lastly, we all know James Perch is a yellow card accumulator, but he does some really good things I think. I'm hoping he continues to learn how to deal with prem players better from a defensive standpoint. I think he will get better. He's a good athlete and he does play with a lot of commitment certainly.

That Fellaini miss at the end ...wow

  13. Thought Tiote looked decent, but he hasn't got great vision and won't be pinging 50 yard crossfield balls about. That said, he played to his strengths and kept it simple, didn't do a lot wrong all game and a massive step up from Smith.

The less "Hollywood" balls the better. That mess costs you posession. Nicky Butt was always forcing the issue with that nonsense. Maintain posession with short accurate passes, and pass and move.

  14.

hope no one thinks this is a racist rhyme but...(I apologise in advance, it wasn't my intention - people say the white pele so why not)

    whoa, black batty (bam-A-lam)

    whoa, black batty (bam-A-lam)

Black batty seen the ball (bam-A-lam)

The damn thing gone wild (bam-A-lam)

He said "I'm tacklin' outta my mind" (bam-A-lam)

    The damn man’s a find (bam-A-lam)

I said oh black batty (bam-A-lam)

    whoa, black batty (bam-BA-lam)

    Worthy of a ban imo.
