Can you believe that nonsense?!
-
Tagliafico's goal it looks like. Was over the line.
-
YES!!!!! LACAZETTE!!!!
-
Lyon look much better with Lacazette now on. Should have got him on earlier if not from the start.
-
35 year old right back with a year left on his contract though? What would we fetch for him? £5 million? If Champions League is clinched, think it would be worth keeping him around as his experience and leadership behind the scenes would still be valuable, even if his form drops off. We'll still have other options in Tino and Krafth down that side too.

Yeah, I was certain this man was done too. No chance he's playing at this level at the minute. Can't get my head round it. I'd agree he has to stay on next season now you'd imagine. Looks like the family issues were really affecting him previously, and perhaps that is all subsiding a bit now. Very very impressive end to the season.
-
He's always had that in his game you know. Especially further up the pitch. Has a knack for a decent through ball. I recall Gayle screwing up quite a few of those from Joelinton, even before he transformed into the player he is now.

Okay, well I just think launching in and assuming the worst of anyone who says they're a Christian is very problematic It's just so incredibly divisive and there is just so much of this sort of thing everywhere you turn nowadays. It is sucking the life and joy out of absolutely everything. The reality is if you bumped into the man at a gathering somewhere without all these preconceived notions, you'd likely get along just fine despite these different underlying beliefs.

So this is your basis for him hating gay people for who they are, and for him being a bigoted cunt. Seems very fair and balanced. Because of his hesitancy over the armband, because of Elon Musk's sly Nazi salute and because of some Nigerian Muslim states' laws, even though he's from the Ivory coast. With how much vitriol and accusation you as an LGBTQ advocate level at someone like him for being a Christian, why would you be surprised he'd be hesitant wearing the armband or that his dad would say they feel imposed upon? What I'd be interested in you showing me are the posts from Guehi on any of his social media where he has abused any gay person with insults similar to those you have levelled at him today. Or show me any reports of people that have said he speaks ill of them in any way. Because I see a lot of that from you, but I don't see any of it from him.
-
You tell me what Guehi said or did that allowed you to draw the conclusion that he hates gay people for who they are, or wishes any kind of ill towards them.
-
You really seem very very confused on this whole thing.
-
Do you have any proof of this? You do realise hatred for anyone goes completely against what his religion teaches right?
-
It's certainly your understanding. And so will leave you to it.
-
Well we bid for him and actively tried to sign him, so clearly they haven't labelled him as being homophobic like you have. I'm not sure you understand what that word means.
-
Their emphasis on character and mentality has been massive. This group of players is so easy to root for for that alone.
-
He'd be more of a squad player for sure, which would be a great achievement in itself.
-
I agree with the sentiments that he struggles more coming off the bench it seems, as it looks like it takes a while for him to get up to speed with things when he comes on. He's not going to have the opportunity to start games or play as many minutes as he has previously when he was starting, and so can't see things getting better, if he needs major minutes to get into a rhythm. There's been a nervous, panicky feeling about his play when he comes on recently that is really uncomfortable to watch. Shame he can't figure out a way to adjust to coming off the bench and being more of a squad player, as he could have been a solid no nonsense player to throw on to tighten things up and just keep things simple in possession, but he's even struggling with those basics.
-
Put opportunities on a plate in back to back games through his relentless effort. Loved the ball he played to Tino to release him in behind for the Guehi own goal too. Love the guy man. For me he is indispensable.
-
I love it though. Team is in a great place when players are enjoying playing that much.
-
If Tuchel ever uses his 3 at the back system for England, I think Murphy would be incredible as a right sided wing back in that setup. It was how Rafa had us lineup towards the end of his tenure, when we were really starting to put something together, with Almiron, Rondon and Ayoze as the front three. Think Murphy would have ended up as a right wing back in that setup, and been very good.

Pretty sure I saw reports a little while back with Parrish running his mouth about how they wouldn't be selling him for cheap this summer or some nonsense. Not sure I want us trying to negotiate or deal with that prat again all summer.
-
And still earns millions for it. I doubt it.

It wasn't meant as a shot at ASM. I just love that gif. It's so funny. ASM was one of the few bright spots during some very dark times.
-
I'm with you. I trust him more than anyone else in one on one situations especially, as he is just going to slot it away in a no nonsense fashion. Isak can sometimes be guilty of getting a bit too cute. Having said that though, Isak is more capable of pulling something extraordinary off. Amazing to have them both in the first team. It's a heck of a lot for teams to deal with.
