I get the sentiment, but at the same time I think sometimes we give those teams too much credit. A lot of times they don't bring young players through very well and let a lot of talent slip through the cracks. Also, sometimes they are just a mess and players lose their way. Rashford for example is looking like a really good pickup for Villa, despite how bad things had become for him at Man Utd.

Yeah, that's a fair assessment I think. However, I have to say I'm not a fan of the not signing top four cast offs mindset. If it's a player that is deemed a better fit for us, and that can perform at a high level in our setup I'm not that bothered tbh. Some people probably thought Hall was a Chelsea cast off.

Really interesting thoughts on Elliott. I didn't know what to think when I saw the rumours. Was pretty much undecided based on what both sides have said on here. He has a lot of quality about his play, but not sure he gets around the pitch well enough, which would be an issue defensively especially.

Anyone else been seeing these Harvey Elliott rumours? They're saying Liverpool are willing to let him leave and we're interested. Thoughts?

Funny thing about Cunha is before Wolves he was mostly a bench and squad player at Atletico Madrid. Wolves have done him a big favour giving him the platform to show more of his game and better his reputation as a player. Makes his carrying on even more distasteful.
