The fact the team functions so well on the whole now that we still managed to cause a threat with that front three, and actually win the game is all credit to Howe. He really is something else.

Please don't play Murphy EVER AGAIN.

Murphy is 4th or 5th choice winger. That's fine for him.

A least his pace is a threat and he buzzes around and can be a nuisance.

And we'll get some goals from the rebounds when his shots hit the post.

Yes, absolutely. This is what so many people continue to overlook when they say we won't make any waves this season unless we get in so and so.

Every single player is likely to take another step forward in improvements with a full pre season now for the first time under Howe.

This bunch have looked fantastic and we are missing our 4 best players in Wilson, Bruno, Joe and ASM.

Yeah and this position is closer to that.

Bryce tried him there at times but we were too deep and defensive to really see him express himself there.

He als presses very well in there. Having him and Joe in there closing down could be interesting. With Bruno in the middle as well.

Anderson wins a pen with a nice touch.
