Isak has been gradually brough back due to his injury rather than a disbelief in his ability.
Yeah, don't know why people keep going on about it.

Lawd have mercy! ASM just evaporated someone's ankles just then!
-
ASM has turned into a playmaker man. Some great balls to release Isak!
-
Fabian where are you going?!
-
That's the best pass I've ever seen ASM play man! What a ball!
-
What a header man. Though someone on here claimed he wasn't good at heading the ball?
-
Get in Alex!!!!! Trippier at last man!

Burn needs a rest, like. The man is all over the place.
Both he and Trippier have played way too much due to injuries. Really need to give them a rest when we get a chance.

Jimenez knew he wasnt getting that and went down. Minimal contact.

State of Traore, looks like one of them kangaroos with that muscle condition that makes them look like hulks.
Can't believe people are still going on about Traore's muscles in 2023 man. My goodness.

Trippier desperately needs a rest. Gives the ball away so much of late. Seems burnt out.

Sadly enough ASM is now overdoing it with the passing. Should have carried it further on that break. The pass to Isak wasn't on.

Bournemouth are a real headache. Almost got the better of Arsenal last weekend, hopefully they can hold on and beat Liverpool today.

Jonathan David hat trick.
Slotted two penalties, cool as you like.
I like this guy a lot.

Jonathan David is great tonight. Buy him.
Watching this game too. He is so cool and calm about his business and just keeps bagging goals.
Love his temperament, intelligence and movement. Really hope he is on our list.

Filthy strike from Rashford man. Goal.

We were linked with the Betis right winger Luiz Henrique too, be interesting to see what he looks like.
-
Ayoze starting upfront for Betis against Man Utd.

I cannot believe how rigid Conte is man
Not once has he just gone with Kane, Son, Richarlison and Kulusevski in a front four, and sacked off one of the defenders who can't defend regardless, even with three of them back there.

I think Howe just probably thinks it will allow us to progress quicker having a strong base of Prem experienced players initially, until we become a bit more established.
I think the value abroad is always so much better, and the midfield options we have been linked with abroad are so much more interesting IMO i.e. the likes of Ugarte and Alvarez just as two quick examples that are McTominay type combative midfielders.
However, we'll just have to let Howe do his thing and probably have one of these Prem preferences flop, so he gets it out of his system. Unless of course they come in and they do better under him with his tutelage. It will work itself out.

Howe doesn't seem very keen on buying foreign players from abroad does he? Only did so a handful of times at Bournemouth. Has of course brought in Bruno, Isak and Botman but it seems like the players we're continually linked with are either UK born or have considerable PL experience.
I think I can also confidently assume that Isak and Botman spoke good English on arrival while Bruno barely spoke any and was blooded very slowly into the team. Maybe English proficiency is something he places a lot of emphasis on. Just a thought.
He definitely seems to be prioritising Premier League experience, only then pivoting to foreign options when the options here are not feasible for one reason or the other.
Looked like we were looking at DCL ahead of Isak at one point, with his injury issues causing us to move away from him, just as another example.
