Almiron incredibly shit, keeps stumbling on the ball every time he gets it.

Because he should be on the left where he can just put his head down and run with the ball.

On that right side he is forced to come inside where there is no space because he is so one footed. He's not the type to play on the opposite side of his strong foot. He's not cute or clever enough with the ball for it.

  2. Just showed a very brief clip of Howe shaking his head and pointing out something to Tindall who shook his head in disbelief too

The team selection is so horrific that I honestly think Jones has to go, and if it is already agreed he stays he should just be there to carry out grunt work i.e. setting things out and taking them back in, before and after training.

Cannot wait for this abomination to end and the new bunch to come in. Absolutely disgusting state of affairs out on that pitch.

Nah, it's all coming up Fonz.

Think he's in the shadows with his Zorro kit on manipulating things so agreements with all the other managers break down ...

Damn ... I mean reading that I kind of get it.

You'd hope the club could find a role for him within the recruitment team with their own choice of DOF if it came down to it. Sounds like he was quite instrumental to Howe's achievements as manager.

Not sure he is the issue though. Sounds like its more just agreeing terms with all of the staff, as Howe's terms are already sorted, and they wouldn't have been if there wasn't even an agreement over the people coming in surely?

Howe has signed subject to us agreeing deals with his backroom staff, for whatever reason that us taking longer than planned.

Yeah that's what it has been reported and so Howe must be happy with who is actually coming in.

Question is, what on earth are his staff asking for?! Hope they're not trying to take the piss because the new owners are 'the richest in football'.

My goodness, this is something else.

Man U are gonna get a result here I can feel it.

    Not unless he changes something.

He should have two alongside Ronaldo up top instead, or Ronaldo and Greenwood need to drop into wider areas more, because the they don't have anyone taking on City's full backs to get crosses or cut backs into the box.

Varane is injured and he wants to play 3 at the back to be solid as only 2 defenders can't be trusted

Maybe AWB as part of a back 3 would be better?

Ah, I see. He's already using all the centre backs available. Yeah fair enough

I like your suggestion though. Think Wan Bissaka is more suited to playing in the back 3 than as a wing back, so would have done that for sure. But then they don't really have a player suited to that right wing back position, or a winger they can use there that would do a job tracking back, Daniel James would have perhaps worked there but he's gone now.

Personally think we are lucky to have him.

Genuinely beginning to think it might well have been a blessing in disguise that we got him instead.

Think Emery is going to have major regrets. I imagine he didn't even have the sense to give Rafa a ring to get more info on the new bunch and the club before his major panic move.

    Man, this is so pathetic.

Even before we ultimately made the approach to Emery it was confirmed that the final two were him and Howe. So all these bitchy tall tales are just so pitiful.

These folks are desperate for the club to still be a joke and for it all to go tits up. Funny how they weren't at all critical of Ashley when he was here taking the absolute piss.

It's not going to work though, Eddie and all the other people they're working hard to bring in are going to be boss. Can't wait

Y’all need to chill, damn.

At least one of the back room staff he wants to bring in are under contract at another club. They’re just sorting that out (or likely already have tbh). A club like Sheffield United isn’t turning down any offers from us to buy out their coaches. Absolutely nothing to worry about here.

Cannot believe how broken Ashley has left us man

Yeah true, and if Howe keeps him on and we do well, then he fully deserves the same amount of credit as Howe and the rest of his coaching team. I just find it mad how people accuse others of "hatred" just because people are critical. I just think you should it's down to the whole team that is in place for the state we are in, not just one man. For me Bruce and his whole team have us in this state, it's nothing personal or hatred.

Never really seen him as one of Bruce's men to be honest.

His only fault for me has been perhaps not being more adventurous the last two games, but they were tough fixtures and so perhaps he just wanted to prioritize grinding out a point in both instances.

Howe is going to get all the coaches he wants in, and if the club are happy to pay for an extra man on his staff due to his local ties and his familiarity with some of the people Howe is bringing in, then all good IMO.

Journalists have gone very quiet. I suspect they know fine well what is going on but have probably been told not to say anything after what happened with Emery.

It's not a foregone conclusion BTW. Howe had problems agreeing stuff around his backroom team with Celtic.

I'd hazard a guess he's doing all the club media stuff that is going to be released once he's confirmed.
