Bruce hoping Armstrong scores as part of this defeat as he’s rehearsed his excuse all week
If we get hammered without him scoring that would be interesting

Torres at Man City and Jota at Liverpool just casually turning themselves into strikers is so impressive.
-
Villa starting El Ghazi and Ashley Young out wide again today. Think they might lose to Brentford.

Just catching up. You have to love the way their colossal failure Lemina was out of our price range and rejected us anyway for another club
Exactly!
One of the guys they see as a colossal failure that they got rid of seasons ago, was one of our dumb manager's prime targets

Can we bring the diamond back
Once we were safe Bruce ditched it because he couldn't bear all the kudos Jones was getting
In a way, I'm glad. Back to his formation, which he originally claimed was Rafa's and was the only way we could play because Rafa had brainwashed the team to only be able to play that way
Despite that claim Jones then came in and changed things in a few training sessions and had us looking miles better, but it hurt the kebab man's ego too much. So back to getting pummelled every week.

Honestly think Arsenal should have got Rafa. Absolutely need his clarity in just making them hard to beat first. They have some wonderful exciting players who are going to be ruined by association with this shambles.
I have a really good friend that is an Arsenal season ticket holder and I have been saying this to him forever. They need the top level organisation and discipline Rafa brings. They have been a messy, nervous shambles for way too long now.
They genuinely look like they are going through a similar decline to what Newcastle suffered.

Pep looking to get Arteta back in the Man City dugout for Monday morning.

Cannot understand why this guy has continuously been given so much responsibility at Arsenal. Xhaka has been a complete liability and head case for them.
Roma came in for him and they had a great chance to move him on, but instead gave him a new contract for goodness sake!
Arsenal are absolutely incompetent in all areas at the minute.

So many people predicted it too
The man is incredibly pathetic

I'm not 100% sure of it at all tbh. He's still good but I have my doubts and that's why I'm intrigued
He's going to be upfront man. He'll be great, as they have more than enough chance creators in Pogba, Bruno and Sancho.
Seeing how effective Cavani was last season, I'm sure he'll do really well. The big issue with Man Utd has been how poor and inconsistent Martial has been when used upfront. And Rashford is really hit and miss in that position too. Greenwood is also still a tad bit green to be the main guy there at this point also.
Going to be a really explosive season at the top of the league if all the main guys stay fit.

Surely Man City have to finalise a deal for either Kane or Lewandowski now?

Bargain for Ronaldo. We'll make that back and more in shirt sales.
Fuck it. Come on home son.
Yeah, I think it's a no brainer. Easily get all that money back.

Man Utd getting a top tier striker and centre back this window, whilst adding Sancho to the mix is absolutely filthy. Title should be between them and Chelsea now really IMO.
-
Adam Armstrong will play well and score, and we will lose.
Bruce will then blame the loss on the manager that sold him

"We haven't lost on the night ...."
Hope Southampton run wild next game. This guy deserves all the humiliation he can get.

What a start to the season man

Don't think he has much choice.
Yeah, think he's fed up of being in limbo as Man City have put him in a very awkward position all summer, and it's put a lot of pressure on him with Spurs fans.

Best manager in the world according to Kaka.
Fulham have immediately improved without him and Bournemouth look bang average.
You seem really obsessive about Scott Parker.
As I said before, I think he's a very promising young manager, and I'm confident he'll prove to be so.
Fulham have improved because they are in the Championship now, and not in the Premier League. Scott Parker was the one that took them up in the first place, remember?
My goodness ...
-
I think Man City will go for Lewandowski if Kane is no longer moving this summer.
-
Arsenal should actually be pleased with that result. They were a mess and deserved a pummelling.

I noticed once against West Ham where Jones came up to the side of Bruce and was talking to him, probably offering his opinion or advice. Bruce didn't quite turn his back but he certainly showed no interest in what Jones had to say and therein lies the problem. When Jones arrived he said "All I can do is offer my opinion, it is up to the manager wether he listens or not"
I think he tolerated his ides initially because it was getting us out of the seemingly certain path to relegation we were on.
Once it looked like we were safe he went back to his three at the back system and I'm pretty sure he started tuning Jones out, and now unsurprisingly we look just as bad as ever.

He can though. every team in the world wants him. It's up to him what he wants to be paid.
Would you have him back as your number 9?
