Man this is scintillating football. Pogba is so dangerous in that free role on the left. Very nice from Man U.

Fernandes is a killer man.

And that warrants a lap of honour ? The players probably egged it on as some in the crowd wait to clap them off at all grounds.
Think it was more about welcoming the fans back in what is a new stadium too. Think people are over reacting to the whole thing.

Ben White looked like a lost pup out there. Brutal debut
He's small for a centre back, which is why he looked best on the side in a back 3, or as a deep midfielder when he was at Brighton. Looking a very questionable purchase already for a team that already lacks so much physicality.

Hilarious.
Arsenal keeper there, man. He wasn't being held, he was doing the holding and oblivious to what was going on around him.
Leno is embarrassing man. Just inspires no confidence whatsoever. He's terrible.
-
Really don't like Leno. Think he's so poor.
-
Oh dear. Typical Arsenal ...
-
Really like the look of Sambi Lokonga. Think Arsenal have found a gem there.

From what I’ve seen on twitter. Don’t know if it’s true or not. Some idiots will still buy it
Really hope it's not true. Would be so disappointing.

Arsenal are rank. That team is awful for a club that size.
I actually have more faith in their younger players. Think Auba and Lacazette are washed.
Interested to see how Martinelli and Balogun get on. Could see them both emerging this season like Saka and Smith Rowe have recently.

Apparently in the club shop and apparently £160
You're joking! That's ridiculous

Based on fixtures good idea to have Villa, Everton and Man Utd players in the opening weeks.
Yeah, I have at least 2 from each team.
With 3 from Everton. DCL, Townsend and Digne.

Haven't seen that Newcastle hoodie he was wearing with the Castore logo before. That been released?

Even when you manage to muster up an iota of excitement for the new season and a pinch of interest in watching the team to see how they get on, this guy just opens his mouth and spouts the most ridiculously offensive stuff you could ever imagine.
Top of our league? This man is not right in the head. And still talking about how we can't change over night over two years into the job. Hope we get battered and continue to do so until he is sacked off.

Guy looks thrilled to be at the club
-
Ah, so Charnley forgot to deselect the 'Wants to use the club as a stepping stone' demand. Typical.

That's all well and good, but if you've got a bunch of excellent players not being challenged most weeks, when it comes to the challenge they'll fail.
Scotland is a good example of this on a cheaper scale...Rangers/Celtic walk their league every year but as soon as they encounter any European opposition of similar/better quality they consistently fail.
If this approach worked PSG would already have a Champions League trophy. It's all well and good winning the 3 leg donkey race every week when you're the only 4 legged one, but as soon as you're in a horse race as a donkey you're stuffed.
Exactly. I think this is a big part in why Mbappe in particular has not quite progressed as many had originally anticipated. Think the environment he's in at PSG has really stunted his growth.
-
They'll continue to come pretty close.
They'll have a fancy front three, but I still don't trust their midfield and defence to hold up defensively in support of them.
-
PSG will not win the Champions League and so I'll be looking forward to them flopping in that immensely.

Well that is sort of the point, you are having to go back quite a bit when you are talking about signing highly desirable players, I was also thinking back to Cabaye and Debuchy, those two were already well established in French football. I think it's been a while since we've made signings of that calibre.
We are still trying to buy good players for £10m when prices have more than doubled for anyone half decent.
Yeah, that's because Rafa was not interested in the strategy at all, which is why they never signed any players for him and he had to go rummaging in the bins last minute.
Mike Ashley wants to sign young prospects from the continent, and mostly France, that he can potentially flip for a profit.
-
Think this is all sorted. They'll just be showing him the bin he's been allocated for his cool down sessions after training.

This is also the week when we start doing things traditionally, just on the eve of the first match in order to save on wages.
Yup that's another clear strategy, which is honestly so utterly pathetic. Love bringing in players with no pre season with their new team. It's genius.

When was the last time we signed a highly rated young player who other clubs were monitoring? I know Liverpool were supposedly keeping tabs on Jamal Lewis, but in hindsight you can see why they eventually decided not to follow up.
We are more inclined to pay daft money for the likes of Joelinton who no one has heard of. The really top younger players will have lots of genuine options ahead of us.
He seems to fall into the category of not quite being at the level where top clubs would necessarily bring him in at this stage but would want to see more of him in a better league first, and so seems to fit into what MA tends to want. Like most of the French battalion we signed back in the day.
-
I'm inclined to believe this one.
Young, French, last year of contract. Seems to be highly thought of too and so likely to have clubs keeping an eye on him to see how he develops if he joins.
Classic Mike Ashley move.

Nah, every single area
He's a top top player. My goodness.
If Martial/Greenwood/Rashford have a break out season up top as a 20 goal striker this team is going to be a serious problem.
