Mostly just happy that our weekly loss will be over by late Friday afternoon so I can focus on college football and the NFL without any interference from Newcastle stinking the joint up.
Amen to that. Love it when the Newcastle game is out of the way nice and early.

No chance of that. It’ll be “Rafa doing well with the team Anchelotti built”.
Not if Andros and Gray carry on like this! They'll have to give that man his dues.

It's a big reason why I can't be mad at him doing well at Everton. Looking forward to all the awkward backpedalling and excuse making.

I genuinely can't believe how shameless the players that were asking for Ronaldo's shirt were.
After that performance and such a poor start to the season on the whole, right there on the pitch with all the cameras following Ronaldo up and down, and they're after his shirt
Loved the fact he had already seemingly agreed to give it to someone else after, and fobbed them all off. It was all so cringeworthy man

It’s not the investment that was the issue. Rafa even said so himself. It’s the control of how that investment was to be spent.
Give Rafa a fraction of what Bruce has had and as long as he had control over who it went on, we’d absolutely be pushing for Europe.
Yes, he said it time and time again. And it all makes it even more terrible as the guy was willing to compromise. It's really a disgrace what went on with him in his time here.

imagine SJP with our team properly run by Rafa level on points with top of the league, roof would be caving in*.
(*because the roof is likely going to cave in with how little fat cunt has spent on the place)
The really sad thing is when you compare each teams starting 11 against each other the difference is not as glaring as you might expect either, and so the start they've had wouldn't have been that unthinkable for us. Oh well.

These cunts really don't deserve Rafa like. 3-1 up, level points with top of the league and it's like a fuckin library.
The shame and embarrassment is setting in
They're beginning to realize that this is the man they were trying to run off before he even came in

No idea why Leicester flogged him/didn’t play him. You’ve gotta think he’s worth keeping hold of more than Marc Albrighton.
Yeah, it was a strange one really. Surprised Rodgers couldn't get more out of him.

Oh yeah, agree. Just think this has been obscene by him. He’s basically spent like ten p, and immediately improved that team.
Oh yeah, for sure. This is next level mastery

Really happy for Demari Gray. Always looked a decent talent, but was beginning to drift away into obscurity somewhat. All of a sudden he now has this great opportunity under Benitez and appears to be grabbing it with both hands. Extraordinary start to the season for him.

I legit don’t think any manager in history has had a better transfer window budget wise
The crazy thing is he did some similarly amazing things with us, but it didn't really get recognised. The way he rebuilt that defence with hardly any money was class.

Imagine being someone like Rondon too. Rafa takes a liking to you, changes your career forever, and trusts you so much he brings you into three different clubs. What a great thing for Rondon's career.
Yeah, absolutely. Deserved it after suffering under Pulis all those years too

Richarlison's face coming off man. Miserable git

Look at Andros Townsend ... my God this is depressing and infuriating all at the same time.

Their fans hated those signings too
They've probably done more than Iwobi ever has at that club
As a Super Eagles fan I'm actually looking forward to the impact Rafa will have om Iwobi. If he ever gets a run in this team he will no doubt look far more useful too. Always struck me as the type that needs a lot more direction, because he has the work ethic and ability, but just really poor decision making.

Rafa bringing in Townsend and Gray for peanuts and getting a tune out of them ffs. The absolute boy.
The m an is incredible. Just look at how he's turned this match around.
The club deserves to go down man. Just for messing this man about the way they did.

And now Gray ...
Both signed for a grand total of £1.75 million ...
Everton fans didn't like either signing too

Has Rafa been playing the 5 at the back formation for Everton all the time this season? Or is it just because DCL is out?
We were so fluid against Burnley when we played them with 5 at the back with Ki having one of his best games for us
No he hasn't. I believe he's done it to counter Burnley's direct approach to the two lumps upfront, so he likely wants another centre back in there.

Looks like he’s going with the formation he used towards the end here.
Yeah, think it's to counter Burnley's nonsense upfront.

If by some miracle Bruce is canned I would absolutely like to see Jones take over, because otherwise the alternative will be the likes of Pulis, Hughes, Pardew again or goodness knows who else.
With those sorts of options we'll be going down anyway, and so would much rather take a flyer on a guy that would at the very least not be a miserable, work shy, dinosaur that relishes negative defensive football.
-
Nothing is more harmful to the team than Bruce is.
This idea that calling for the man to be flung out is somehow making the team perform even worse than he has made it is absolutely nonsensical!
-
If Leeds turn us over at home on Friday the pressure will be immense, which would be exactly what he deserves.
Therefore, I would not be at all surprised if we pull out a fluke result.

Eh? From my point of view, they were both running in line, the Leeds player cleanly won the ball and there was an unfortunately landing/tangle of legs afterwards.
Not sure why Sky are saying the ref was always going to send him off, he didn’t even blow for a foul until he saw Salah’s reaction/the injury.
Did he definitely win the ball cleanly then? Only saw it in live action. Looked a bit of an awkward and clumsy challenge.
Should have just been a yellow though at most. but the ref definitely reacted to the situation, which was a bit strange.

They aren't showing the replay but it looked both late and from behind. I know he wasn't trying to cripple the lad but it was so unnecessary.
You know everytime I watch football I am often dissapointed in how carelessly players tackle. Tackling is increasingly a lost art.
He had not chance of winning the ballf rom the position he was in, as Elliott had just shifted th eball ahead of him, and he's gone in from a really awkward position.
He was probably trying to give a cheap foul to stop the break, but in those kind of instances just grab the guys shirt or something.

Yeah, I thought the same.
You could argue his approach was a smart one too, because the 3 centrebacks neutralised Wood and Barnes to start.
As Burnley then began to tire he added the extra man in midfield to take full control of the game and completely play them off the park.
