Interesting. Think the Italian league makes sense.

Yeah, Burnley's midfielders are there to watch the ball go over their heads and then try and get second balls.
Oh no, how will he ever adapt to our system.

Based on only short highlights of him, he looks decent on the ball with decent passing. Similar to Shelvey, and therefore this sounds like a masterstroke by Brucey.
Nah he wouldn't have near the range of Shelvey in his passing but is a lot more mobile
Yeah, definitely looks good on the ball and can carry it well.

Was surprised watching his highlights. Looks like he's got more to him than a bog standard midfielder.
Appears he got fed up of being shunted out wide and wants to play centrally.

He hardly ever really plays Rodri and Gundogan together. He usually plays one of them sitting (Or Fernandinho) with DeBruyne and David Silva in central midfield alongside. Only did it yesterday because he was seemingly nervous.
Unbelievable that he started the game with Both Silvas, Foden and Mahrez on the bench. Pep pretty much bottled it.
Went too defensive with Fernandinho, Rodri and Gundogan starting.

Disagreed last night with whoever mentioned it but one legged ties are clearly the way to go for more underdogs winning
PSG won?
Just about, but it was far more interesting with the added pressure. They almost blew it

Yeah it's been a lot more compelling for sure.

Another really enjoyable game today. Great stuff.
Well done Lyon. Well done. Played so well.
-
Quite like Man City tbh but a combination of Pep, Ederson and stupid rules have put them out for another year.
The misses from Jesus and Sterling were terrible man. Those two are culpable for this loss really.
-
League blown. Another Champions League failure.
Mourinho>Pep
God you're one of the biggest bullshitters on this forum.
Mourinho man

Another season where Pep fails to deliver the CL.
I thought he was supposed to be the best manager in the world?
Here we go
Pep and Messi the world's worst in their respective roles
-
Ederson
;D
-
Sterling
Not surprised about that. Always feel he's just as likely to do that as he is to score.

I for one welcome our weird necked overly photoshopped overlords.
The woman's neck length is certainly alarming
She makes it work for her though. Pretty lady

That ball from DeBruyne

Feels so underwhelming after having put so much excitement into PIF.
We were so close to eventually becoming one of the elite in European football. So close.
That’s how I feel too.
Not really how I see it. For me it’s not about being filthy rich, Citeh-style, and Saudi ownership was always problematic and hard to fully accept. I just want owners who strive to develop the club and compete.
Yup

You could have let him have that man.
-
Lyon look fantastic their 3-5-2 is so good man.
Reminds me of Bruce's version of this formation that we thrived in early doors last season.
-
I suppose we could do worse than owners who come in like the guy/family at Leicester (RIP).
They haven't spent crazy amounts on the team (I don't think), but gradually built the team up to a competing level, and also pumped money in to build the facilities as well as the local community.
Perhaps not to the extent the KSA may have, but hopefully they also come without all the baggage.
F*** It, I'm back in!! Hehe
I love how Leicester has progressed and that was always my preference. Would be so awesome if we got owners like theirs.
-
We know 100% Bruce is gone if this goes through at least as chopra hates his guts
Really?
Oh I'm so into this now. Go on Chopra lad!
-
Do they have a pot to piss in? Or will we just be jumping from one skinflint to more of the same.
From the article ...
The BN Group, which describes itself as a “leading player on the world stage”, has investments in 100 countries, and last year posted a global revenue of more than £9billion. -
Wasn't Chopra hinting at something positive recently? Maybe it's this info he was privy to?
Would be nice to be taken over by someone that doesn't come with so much controversy tbh.
-
If Messi left where do you think would be the best fit for him?
Stoke on a wet and rainy Wednesday night.
Yes, of course
I think the Italian league will likely be his next stop should he leave.

I like Chris Wood. He's 29 this year though, and so it is now clear that they were just being spiteful to Benitez when they refused to sign Rondon. Such weirdos.
Anyway these are the types of players that suit Bruce's style of play and whole approach. Ironically, I could see him do better if he's given these types we're being linked with.
Better than continuing to mess up any young foreign players that need more direction, developing and coaching. This has been such a pointless recruiting approach, while continuing to not put in place the type of manager to make the most of it.
Things will be far less annoying this way. It will all be on him now, no more blaming Benitez and all that nonsense.
