  1. Tonali has now joined the party. Trippier with so much space to cross and refused to. This is awful.
  2. Trippier now giving the ball away every time. Should be playing that ahead of Osula into space.
  3. A more polished forward ahead of him and some better wing play, and he'd look even better.
  4. Think overall been a solid performance, but we have no threat down either wing so far. Not beating their full backs or putting in balls for the strikers to attack.
  5. Found Barnes decision making quite frustrating. Just put that in the box. Where was he going?!
  6. Glad the keeper did that. Think Murphy was going to cock that up
  7. Nice interchange Osula and Barnes. Needed a better finish.
  8. Woltemade looks great in this role. Barnes had to play Ramsey in after the one two with big Wolt.
  9. Woltemade playing off Osula could be a lot of fun. Good to see Tonali alongside Ramsey in a double pivot too. Should be interesting. Nice to see something different.
  10. We were linked with Verbruggen from Brighton the other day.
  11. I saw a recent article saying we had been following Etta Eyong at Levante closely. Wasn't the greatest source, but he's young with room for growth, and has the physical profile you'd expect of a Howe forward and is a very hardworking pressing forward, and so it seemed to make sense. Apparently has a 40 million Euro release clause for Prem teams too.
  12. Ramsey and Willock are really good getting forward and so it worked really well, as along with the front three it created a lot of pressure going forward. Bruno at the base was orchestrating it all very well too. Worth exploring further for the meantime to see if they can offer more goal threat and be more clinical.

    Harvey Barnes

Wasn't helped at all by having Burn at left back, but I wish Barnes would release the ball quicker and look for more one-twos with team mates. Has a habit of staying on the ball too long when he's running with it and then losing it. Especially as he's not great at beating a man one on one out wide. Was disappointed he wasn't really able to go at Archie Gray at right back more, and make him uncomfortable.
  14. Yeah, been saying all season he had to drop back into that position for us to get a better hold of games. He's just a completely different calibre of player initiating play from the back than Tonali is. Everything was going through Bruno in midfield. He was finding Ramsey and Willock in great little pockets of space higher up the pitch, where they could really shine, and the wingers benefitted too by not having to drop too deep to get a hold of the ball. They were getting the ball higher up the pitch in more space. Hope he's not out long.
