  1. Did think he looked more comfortable in the double pivot with Bruno initially, before they both tired. Would stick with that more going forward. On the whole though, with all the recent speculation, would not fear losing him in the summer.

We're pressing less and less. At home against Brentford today who aren't that great with the ball, and we didn't pressure them. Woltemade is getting it played into his feet even less than when he first joined and no longer lays it off quickly like he did then either. It's beyond me why the team is not only struggling to improve, but also going further away from the things that worked well before.

It's difficult to understand tbh. Just ridiculous at this point.

The midfield is always wide open. They just go about charging people down or sprinting forward and no one protects or covers the defence.

    Yoane Wissa

Had gone years without a significant injury. Of course he picks one up shortly after joining and at age 29. Looks like it's finished him. Doesn't look like he'll do anything this season. Perhaps after a full pre season he gets back to closer to what he was physically, but maybe not. It's a disaster.

Change in shape got him into some great spaces. Has taken too long to try this setup. Far more likely to get more out of him in those positions if persisted with. Should really continue with it going forward, but I doubt we will.

    Harvey Barnes

Struggles to go by a defender. Offered no threat down the left side.
  8. Has been dodgy defensively for at least two seasons now. No idea why he's been kept on. Something to do with being an experienced pro I'm sure. But he can't run or deal with anyone physically. Oh well.
  9. Trippier yet again out of position ...
  10. Change in shape. Finally. Fingers crossed.
  11. Midfield, midfield, midfield, midfield, midfield ....
  12. No, they're only annoyed about it because I don't agree with them. It's really that simple. And please don't describe my post as a rant because it wasn't. I didn't tell any lies with what I said. If people are getting wound up about it because Gordon played well and they've decided they hate him and want him gone that's their problem.
  13. Tell these clowns to get out their feelings then.
  14. Yes, and here you are crying about it dumbass. You clearly have a problem with comprehension, so I'll make it simpler for you. I don't want people that piss and moan all the time whining to me about pissing and moaning. Now fuck off.
  15. No idea what happens with this guy going forward, but the manager will have to figure it out. Really useful helping protect against counters, but every other area leaves a lot to be desired.
  16. "Being a helmet" All this forum is, is pissing and moaning. But dare to not be onside with the masses, and then the crying starts! I'm sure you'll get over it, because I'll continue to do as I please thanks.
  17. Stop crying You guys get to bitch endlessly with every misstep he has. Let me have my fun

    Jacob Ramsey

Think he's going to be really good. Always felt it was just a case of getting his sharpness back. Very confident assertive performance, and outshone Tonali in that midfield pairing.
  19. Great showing. Caused a bunch of problems after he came on and put Barnes in position to win it twice. Can only imagine how alive with fume this thread would be if he was the one that didn't take either of those chances. Instead, and unsurprisingly, it's quite serene in here
  20. He just cannot miss that man. No idea why he was so off balance either. Got too excited.
