That number 20 Gosens has been man of the match. He's been a monster.

Could really see things conspiring against France and they end up coming 3rd in this group.

Germany have really found a nice balance going forward with the players selected for this game and the positions they're playing. They look very dangerous attacking.

Far more shocking how Arsenal completely mismanaged his development and never got anything out of him.

Yeah, they don't really play as a team. Deschamps is defensive minded first too. Wenger managing this team would make them absolutely terrifying. They should be annihilating teams far more often.

Don't like this French team. Bunch of great names but it doesn't really come together convincingly often enough.

When you have a player like Grealish in the squad you can't be starting those two, especially in a a game where you're favourites. Against a France or Belgium more understandable perhaps. Otherwise I just don't get it.

From what I've seen of Czech Republic that could be a very awkward game now too with England playing this way.

Scotland really should have won that all being said. Looked more like scoring, which is shocking really.

Southgate has the talent to compete and win this tournament, but he has shown he doesn't have the mentality.

Starting with Philips and Rice holding at home against Scotland and leaving the pair on in that double pivot the whole game was unacceptable.

This is the problem when you have former defenders as managers.  They are always so overly obsessed with being defensively solid.

Genuinely can't believe he took Foden off. He's the sort you want on the pitch to link up with Grealish.

Leaving both Rice and Philips on in a game where there has been no service whatsoever for the forwards is pretty poor stuff.

That midfield three you have there would work so nicely. Just don't get it at all.

Lindelof has had a really good tournament so far. Some really really good defending. 

Looks like we offered him a 3 year deal as opposed to the one year extension from Liverpool so I would imagine that was the motivation for him.

Not a single one of these kids we get from other clubs ever work out. This club is impossibly bad at bringing through young players. Can't even do it by accident occasionally.
