  1. I'm in bed I'm not watching that shit

I always browse here with my morning brew it's ritual. That's all. I was hoping to see some comments taking the piss out Ashley fc not people talking and planning tactics like it matters. Winning games just makes Ashley richer and keeps him here longer. I can't see how people don't get that at this point.

Stop having expectations of other people man.

Just do what you think is best. Nobody wants to be told what to do by anyone.

  2. Muto has great close control. Shame this system wont fit Almiron and him.

Unless Miggy could play deeper in one of the midfield places alongside Shelvey?

It's going to be interesting. Really like the look of Muto.

Miggy in the position Colback is playing could be really dynamic.

I think this setup really suits Shelvey, as he has the two other midfield runners alongside him to do all the legwork.

No offence but I’m really struggling to see how you give this much of a f***. It’s the most uninteresting thing in the world.

Mental isn't it. People saying it's a shame about this or that regarding players and tactics etc. Winning pre season games will only draw people back for the Arsenal game and help it all to blow over. Again. Allowing Ashley to win. Again.

He's not leaving in the PL. losses are the best thing for this club long term

I feel like if you were really done you wouldn't be on a Newcastle forum. I don't really trust your commitment man.

I love football still and I love this board. I can't detach completely as it was too big a part of my life. I just like to take the piss and laugh at Ashley fc until he leaves and also to read the thoughts of other people in this shit situation

I have to admit when Rafa left and it was all burn it all down that's the final straw, I never expected people to be debating tactics and getting excited about muto etc

You're on a match thread following the match, and are surprised people on the thread are talking about the team setup?

You claim to be done and you're watching and following the match man. Come off it. That is hypocritical.

  6. The new Amr Zaki

Oh wow. Whatever happened to this guy?

Exploded onto the scene for that Wigan team. Really liked him at the time.

Scored for fun when he first came to the PL and then barely scored again for a decade after

Man, that was a random patch of form. He was such a powerful, explosive striker during that stint from what I recall.

  7. Genuinely asking. i have never seen this guy play before or even his clip on Youtube so how would most of you accepted him had he been signed under Rafa?

His combination of size, strength and dribbling ability is a lot to work with. I think his potential under Rafa would have been incredible.

Clearly needs some developing though, and I think Rafa felt he could get a more refined and finished article.

  8. Mitro was a big lad too, like, no pace though.  If we were at all smart we'd bring in an experienced striker to take a bit of pressure off him too.

Yeah, it's really the pace and his ability to run with the ball that will be the key difference with him and Mitro.

Regarding a more experienced striker, it may be that those links to Charlie Austin are true, as a prem experienced striker to take the pressure off like you say.

  9. Under Steve Bruce

Pretty sure Bruce won't be sitting on him during the games, so yes.

He will be directing the team to launch 50 yard Balls at him though and will drop him the second we get a bad result

Even under Pardew (a worse manager) the likes of Ba and Cabaye still managed to excel. Your post is so over the top.

They did but I wouldn’t bank on outliers being the rule. He’s also young and  inexperienced

Yes, that's definitely a fair point, as far as his age and inexperience, similar to how Mitrovic was thrown in.

Think this guy's physicality and pace will be a huge plus in his favour though, as he looks like he will be more of a handful in that regard.

  10. I think this guy is going to be good

Couldn’t give a fuck, he will probably be the only signing and the blind cunts will think it’s great, good old mike on the spend, not like, he’s spent what he’s had in and severely weakened a piss poor squad , he does it every year.

Don’t be so fucking blind folk.

My 9 word post never thanked Old Mike. Nor am I blind to what has happened. Nor do I care for all the same “I don’t care” posts either. Nor do I care for people telling others how to think one way or another.

This place has absolutely gone to hell man it's incredible

It really has. I've give up my ticket but will still want us to win every game?!?! Can't help it..

And that's perfectly fine, you shouldn't have to be made to feel bad about that. Huge respect for giving up your ticket. That in itself is a huge step.

Everyone is going to have different reactions to this whole mess. For me I don't really care what happens results wise going forward. However, I will still be looking on with interest to see how things pan out.

MA feels as though any manager that goes along with his plans will do, as they feel they can bring in talented players and that will be good enough. Well we shall see.

I am still interested in discussing who comes in and how they are used etc, And also discussing how everything ultimately plays out.

  11. Under Steve Bruce

But the point is nothing matters now, don't you agree?

If anything we want him to fail as we want SD United to fail.

People discussing signings, formations etc like it matters anymore is mad, and i have to question anyone doing so whether they fully understand what is going on.

People should be free to discuss whatever they want.

Why do you think it's okay to police what people do? That's obnoxious and pretty arrogant.

It's no better than Mike Ashley's behaviour.

  14. Gives a fuck?

    Who gives a fuck

Getting tiresome now.  If you don't give a fuck then don't open the thread, no need to have the same shit spammed everywhere every day.

    It's all so weird now.

I feel like MA has even succeeded in killing this forum.

They might as well shut it down.

    Still the greatest headline ever.

Is this guy even healthy enough to last on that touchline?

From a purely health perspective should we be hiring this unhealthy mess?

Well he'll be under pressure from the start so it doesn't look good for his waistline.

It's 3am.  Rafa Benitez is rewatching his next opponent's last match, trying to find a way to exploit their defence.  Meanwhile, Steve Bruce is sitting on the kitchen floor in his pants eating pickled eggs from the jar.

We're in so much trouble man

  17. Apperantly new manager needs to say yes to the deal according to the mirror.

"We couldnt break our record because Steve wanted to bring Crouchy out of retirement and bring in Andy Carroll instead"

Nah, the club just don't want to have to answer questions about a signing coming in with no manager in place.

Steve Bruce has absolutely no say in any of the deals that have already been planned.

    It's so obvious.
