I'm not saying that it would definitely be an embarrassment. I hope it won't be. But you must be able to see how a poorly set-up protest to just about ANYTHING can come across as embarrassing if it's not well-executed.

A Shepherd Out campaign would have the backing of most I would think, if it was well organised, co-ordinated and looked professional. A slap-dash, hastily put-together one will only bring embarrassment on us all.

 

As I've tried to tell you before, you can't ask for support from people before they've seen your ideas.

I think you lot are going over the top saying it will be a embarrassment, If it as bad as we are expecting it probably wont get any press coverage at all - so I can hardly see how it would be and ebarassment.

Well before it goes 'online' you could show it to us here and we could tell you what could be done to improve it.

Coming from a club where he was a bit of a peripheral figure, albeit a cult one by the sound of things, into a situation where he's given the number 9 and has his name sang for 90 minutes, he must feel like he's won the lottery. As you say, he's far from the finished article, but I'm a lot less sceptical than I was this time last week. Still has a lot to do though.

There is an article in a magazine called When Saturday Comes written by the Italian journo who sparked the age confusion. Apparently the webmaster of the Nigerian website didnt get paid so he messed up loads of stuff on the site to piss them off

it really fucks me off when ppl turn round and say martins is shit, hes played a few games and is barely match fit! he was tryin too hard yesterday to score, once he gets that 1st goal he'l be away! his sheer pace alone will create and get goals, but it aint gonna help when the media and his own fuckin fans call him a flop after 3 bloody games!

Until that happens he will be a flop, he has the talent he just needs the motivation, which has to come from inside. One of the seniors needs to have a serious word with him.

I flew back from holiday a couple of months back and got on the bus that takes you from the plane to the terminal.
