  1. Because most clashes happen between hooligans and police, experiments are being suggested not to have policemen in the stadiums.

    Asking for trouble.

I went to an Inter Milan match last year and sat in the Ultras, the police were all down the other end of the stadium, as far away from them as possible. The let them knock themselves out mentality is already there and it works most of the time, when the police wade in it amplifies the violence in most cases.

These Sicilian derbies are notoriously violent, this season is the first time in few decades that 3 of them have all been in the same division. A riot like this was almost inevitble, they could have had 10x as many police there and it would of still been total carnage  :undecided:

Siere A are just lucky Pisa and Fiorentina are divisions apart, thats another war waiting to happen.

  2. I'd be happy in any of those scenarios.  Anyone that says they wouldn't is a cockmuncher.

We've spent fucking shitloads over the years so that one's irrelevant, I couldn't give a shite about the number of English players we have, and winning football is entertaining football as long as you're the one doing the winning.  I've watched us play fucking awful some times but as long as we win, I walk away from the ground a happy man.  Sooner that than playing lovely football and getting beat.

  3. However for the French striker, I have absolutely no confidence.

Have you just galnced at his goalscoring record?

I was chatting to a few French footy fans about his and they rate pretty highly and say he would be suited to the premiership. He is canny phsyical and has teriffic nack for setting up goals rather then scoring them.

Babels a non starter and out of whats avaliable, Piq looks like a good move for us.
