If you can explain how they got him to hand in a transfer request, I'll agree with you. Any number of incentives or threats. It goes against every instinct I have that he suddenly decided he wanted to leave on the last day of Janurary after a massive offer was made.

He was far more deserving of a first Xl spot than Shearer in 05-06. Looked very good under Roeder.
-
You're only naive if you believe those who've lied to us on a number of occasions, including last month through Pardew.
-
We should f***ing get all of it.
-
He's far worse than in 2006, like. He was actually a fairly good player back then.
-
Exactly what I thought. Especially with it being Charles f***ing N'Zogbia - a player at the forefront the last time a complete and utter farce like this occured.

A big thanks to the impressive number of grown men in their 20s and 30s who decided to do their daily regimen of dancing and face-pulling behind David Craig today. Made an otherwise terrible few hours slightly humourous. You should all be pretty fucking ashamed.

Lee Ryder is more likely to use it as toilet paper than print any of the content, the spineless, physically revolting little prick.

Same. Hope , John Mensah breaks his legs when they play Ghana in March. Prefer that Saylor does it.
-
I won't support England while he's playing for them. Just don't want to.
-
Yep. According to Bobby, they didn't tell Shearer till after it had been turned down.
-
Being fair, SSN claim Dave Whelan has confirmed it to them. I can't see him wanting to do Ashley any favours. Precisely.
-
Was never any genuine bid. More smoke and mirrors for the tracksuited mongs.
-
They barely have homes, mate.

Phoning Babestation.

True Faith have spies? They should start by placing them at SJP on matchdays, given that i'm convinced they write their match reports based on Teletext and their own vivid imaginations.
-
Walcott no thanks, jog on.

That they're leaving the transfer window far, far stronger than they were on Jan 1st? Yeah, livid. Clueless. Whereas we are leaving it far weaker - currently 3 players down an dour best player gone. And virtually all of the lower half teams have strengthened. It's Jan 09 all over again, but worse. And some are actually defending Ashley. Laughable. There's a big difference between defending someone, and not blaming them for something that isn't their fault. You don't think we could have easily kept him? He wanted the money, man. Then he showed what a mercenary c*** he is and it's better we've got rid after seeing his true colours. Everyone of our players would rather play at Liverpool, shall we get rid of them too? Well said.

He also rejected Liverpool's bid. If he wanted it that badly, he wouldn't have rejected it. Nonsense. It's called getting the best deal.
