Got to be said, he absolutely rapes The Championship.

I must say, unscripted Keys is a really good talker. Remove him from that deadpan Lineker-like role and he'd probably be watchable/listenable.

Berbatov, Rooney, Hernandez, Van Persie, Tevez, Dzeko, Drogba, Anelka, Defoe, van der Vaart, Torres, Carroll, Bent. Perhaps doesn't quite stand up to the mid-90s, but there's plenty of striking quality in the PL at this moment.

reads really harshly as well. Not dissimilar to what Keegan said about Milner though. I just hope Pardew will be backed this time and everyone is singing from the same hymn sheet. It does appear to be so. Keegan said he didn't want to lose Milner.

I didn't watch that much of the analysis either, bits and pieces. The Last Word was the most infuriating thing on television - just show us a goal from start to finish man, you boring dickheads. I still think Andy Gray was really likeable for a number of years though - mainly for his enthusiasm - but he started thinking he was more important than he was by a long shot. Was interesting when he turned down the Everton job. It would have been nice if this business had just brought him down a peg or 2 and he became a bit more humble and bearable, but maybe he was long gone anyway. Presenters like Richard Keys are ten-a-penny though imo, no great loss there, who cares. Completely agree.

Rob Green's a fucking disgrace.
-
Shades of that fantastic left-footed goal against Deportivo for us.
-
I think Bowyer would be a better example Proved wrong.
-
Shola's better, apparently.
-
Keys is scum, he should have gone a long time ago.
-
I wish we could have signed Kluivert when he was 24.
-
Complete non-starter. Great player, though. Take him in an eyeblink.

Other than the low risk part, that point to prove stuff is exactly what we said in the summer. He's out of his comfort zone, unfortunately, and he's not handling it well. I get the feeling it would have been like this had he gone anywhere - anywhere that isn't Man City, that's the issue. He's apparently dreadful in training, doesn't want to know. On more than one occasion, he's ruled himself out with iffy sounding illnesses - the last time it was a "virus" and the very same evening he was seen out boozing with Heskey and Ashley Young. When he came here, someone on the City staff said he was in the top 5 percent in terms of talent there, but the bottom 5 mentally. Houllier said that any loans out, the other club would have to pay all the wages, and that we'd rather players stayed in the stiffs rather than subsidise them to play somewhere else. So, five months of Ireland = 70 x 4 x 5 = 1.4m, add on NI, and you're looking at 1.6m. On top of that, there's win bonuses etc etc etc. So, whilst it could be more expensive otherwise, it certainly isn't free. That quote for me sums the lad up. Think brummie's making a mistake here though, he should be looking out for Villa's best interests and really extoling his virtues You agree that he was in the top 5% of talent at the richest club on the planet, yet you think we - a team that has started Leon Best, Peter Lovenkrands, Alan Smith and Danny Guthrie recently - don't have any place for him in the squad. Wake up, man. Complete and utter buffoon.
-
If he clearly remembers a player who made his name in the 40s and 50s, i'd say he's pushing his luck.
-
Ireland operates well off the striker, how many times do you have to be told that? He can play off Carroll/Shola.
-
How old are you lot? He retired over 50 years ago.
-
Hope David Pleat takes over his commentary role.
-
Blackpool have lost 5 out of their last 6, just a shame the pricks got to play Liverpool. Think they could be going. Chances are they'll finish on around 38 points.
-
Then why the f*** loan him. He's already pissed off because he's not getting a game at Villa. We are not that thin in his role tbh, Gosling, Guthrie and Vuckic all do a similar job. We'll never know if he'll recapture that form because he'll never bloody play. If we are looking for a loanee then lets bring in someone for a position we are a little light on, DM for example. Why loan him? Because he's obviously desperate to come here if he'll agree a loan deal. None of those three midfielders you mentioned can do what Ireland can, he's a genuine midfield play maker who can score goals AND run with the ball. And that's the lie, that keeps getting perpetuated. He's not those things, he was in one great season but outside of that he was simply an average footballer. A player we don't need, a player with personal issues we do not need to be suckered into. A player we don't need? You're clearly not watching the games, mate.
-
Why? Because he's a very talented football who can play in a position in which we are desperately lacking. No that i'm surprised, folk were turning their noses up at Berbatov in the summer.
-
He probably just means his stamina.
-
I agree, but there has to be a correlation here. A lot can to be said for looking so good in this league. Fwiw, I think Aguero will rock the premiership like a cradle. Hell of a player.

Was it not obvious enough that I just included things that have happened while I've been watching you [insert appropriate insult here]? Even still, man.
