Simpson was very good. My Blackburn supporting mate called him their 'best player at the back end of last season' and I thought he was taking the piss. He looks a very good prospect for RB.
No stats there. I like him and want him in the team but to suggest his absence would negatively impact Nolan, Smith and Taylor is completely without basis. And I've provided 4 games during his short recovery period which indicate the opposite.

Having another natural winger in the side might help in that we'll be able to break in more numbers. Often he's the only man in the final third for us.
