  1. that's ridiculous, he's absolutely brilliant. Not worth that but a superb defender The Everton fans I know (not that many granted) all seem to think Jagielka is better anyway. That's called bias

  3. I'll reserve judgement on Lua Lua but he's never impresed me one bit
  4. We all know he doesn't do it against the good defences, his record in the euros and the world cups post 1998 is appalling man. To take him ahead of Darrent Bent, Crouch or Walcott would be criminal
  5. you're an idiot Did you go to the game yesterday? Doubtful Poor against Sheff Wed
  6. You being sarcastic? You must have been watching a different player because Jose was apalling last season, I know most of the team was piss poor but in no way was Jose any better. His passing was piss poor, caught out of position constantly, he had about 5 very good games last season. The rest was just him running around the field impersonating a footballer. I'll tell you why not many clubs are in for him, his big wages. what an absolute load of nonsense
  7. ahh well, unlucky mate. I geniunely couldn't see owt but a win for the unwashed. Looking at the highlights B'Burn deserves at least a point like
  8. don't talk nonsense man, he has not one redeemable apect of his game. He's f***ing bollocks His short passing and tackling are fine. Just play him as a Makalele type working across the pitch instead of up and down. both are substandard man, didn't he lose more tackles than anyone in the league last season? And as for his passing, let's not start I said his short passing. And Makalele is still a big part of a good PSG Side. He was massive for them last season. It require very little, and while I'm far from "Wor Nicky's "biggest fan, but I can see why some teams may want him, be it Notts County or a Burnley who need a decent grafter who can possibly bring on some young lads. Right now he's nowhere near our first team, as he doesn't match up. We have Smith who is the tough tackling break up, who has better energy and stamina than Butt. Guthrie and Barton are the bit of quality and Nolan is a slight attacking threat. He's finished here to be honest and I can see him asking for a move. I meant both Butt's tackling and passing were substandard, not Butt and Makalele BTW

    Jonas Gutierrez

Give him space and he's pretty damn amazing, in this league anyway. Sad to see but he appears to be a bit secluded from his teammates at the moment

  12. Cant wait for the studio 'analysis'
  13. backing Blackburn over them? Madness
  14. At home probably. I think they're both too attack minded to work well together away from home, where we should use Smith. He deserves his place on his performances so far, dropping your in form players sends a terrible message to those wanting to hold down a first team place. I personally though Smith wasn't great against Reading and downright poor against Sheff Wed
  15. Barton and Guthrie presents by far the best functioning midfield to me. Especially at home
  16. Both look bloody woeful to me. It's imperative that we keep the current defence together and bring in reinforcements
  17. How many good games has Barton had in 2 years? About the same amount. Since roughly when Allardyce was sacked, Barton has looked our best player every other time he's been on the pitch. He's an absolute class act on form
  18. Do you honestly think Joey Barton is likely to pick up as many cards as Alan Smith? No chance
  19. Guthrie and Barton for me has the most potential, although tbf to Smith he is making a strong case. Guthrie holding spraying passes with Barton being the driving influence I just still don't trust Barton, both on and off the pitch. I like the holding player to be more like Smith than Guthrie, personal preference though, as both are more than capable. What risk is he on the pitch? Alan Smith is a lot more of a risk than Barton, he could easily have been sent off against both Reading and Sheff Wed
  20. Barton is ten times the player Alan Smith is. People have short memories, 4 good games in 2 years and suddenly Smith is worth the shirt, honestly
  21. If we play Tozer and kadar in the defence, surely we're going to get beat, no?
