it's all Howard Webbs fault that our play under Kinnear and Shearer has represented just about the most ineffective and worst to watch in the league
-
Probably more down to his effort over the season. A player can't really help it is he's not good enough, but he can try his hardest. If Robert had tried as hard / run as much as Jonas he could have been a genuine great. for the season in question he managed 12 goals and something like 40 passes leading to goals. Guttierez has managed one assist and will NEVER score for us, running rarely works when you do most of it into the wrong areas No-one said it did. And he has got more than one assist. Edit- As for Robert-Jonas comparisons, the most assists Robert got in one season was 7, Jonas has 3 this season. Source- ESPN Soccernet he probably had 7 assists by september in the 03-04 season
-
I said it early in the season, he spends far too much time playing deep and trying to run into attacking positions, predictable, ineffective, easy to defend, especially when him having the ball in an attacking position only guarentees the end of the attack
-
if we go into another season with Butt nailed on in the starting lineup i'll sell my bastarding season ticket

all out attack. We cant play patient football
-
Jonas should hang his head in shame. To think Robert was booed off 5 years ago yet the usless Jonas recieved warm applause
-
he was absolutely abysmal, gave the ball away countless times all game, as he's done all season
-
you consider Owen a good finisher yet he's managed to miss every decent chance he's got in the last 10 games
-
correct An UNDERStatement actually And Butt - Butt actually didn't have a bad game - plenty around who were a LOT worse. And Libertine - the fat feller reminded me of three baldy fat morons in Burger King opp the O2 Academy today at 2 o'clock stuffing their faces and belching loudly, and farting and thinking they were hilariously funny They had Newcastle scarves on. So - it's not just the players who were moronic, and an insult to the colours today..... you're having a f***ing laugh mate, clearly didn't see the game
-
Bet you wouldn't even be posting on here if he scored from that last gasp effort =P (It was him, right?) well i've been saying he's shite all season, so you work it out
-
that it was a crap finish, basically, it was a tight angle
-
i'd get rid of about 80% of the squad
-
I dont know about the first because it was at the other end of the ground but the second you cant call s*** , he did well
-
what a ridiculous thread
-
your pal Owen wouldn't have been in a position to get those chances, which is why most had rather have Martins anyday of the week
-
How does Butt do it man? the first name on the teamsheet every week and never a hint of him being substituted, it's absolutely sickening utterly useless cunt
-
Ryan Taylor and Kevin Nolan Kinnear's reign summed up pretty well, absolute shite
-
might just put a grand on us to go down in order to soften the blow
-
I dont know how old you are, you might be older or younger than me but growing up watching nufc they have always done a full lap around the pitch until a few years ago iirc. We should at least get a thank you for putting up with their shower of s**t all season we know that, doesn't mean anything. Like Keefaz says it's very much a no-win situation for anyone given the shower of s**** we've seen this year
-
you need 3 teams to win to get any return whatsover
-
being in the TA i'm expected to work 3 weekends a month which causes problems, obviously. To make the last 4 saturday games i've basically had to agree to do a tour of Canada in the summer and Afghanistan next year, which demonstrates my affection somewhat

Guthrie's just turned 22, he could be on hell of a player for us long term
