    RIP sale thread.

aye, this is the only part of it that makes me worry slightly

    RIP sale thread.

I really wouldn't worry about this as much as some seem to be doing. £100M man, someone will go for that very, very quickly.
  3. Not that it's saying much but our defence was the stongest part of the team last season
  4. I though the game was pretty damn good tbh
  5. These days he would never try a volley as audacious as the one scored against us. based upon what? The Rooney we've all see for the last 3 years You havent really watched any of Man Utd for the past 3 years.. he has single handedly destroyed teams this year and as for 'will never try a volley like that again' one of the most ridiculous posts ever read, of course he would. he doesnt doubt his own ability, he is in a team that has 15+ chances a game on most matchdays and he has great technique. So if the ball is bouncing nicely in front of him he will obviously hit in. I have watched just about every minute of Man U's play this season and last (not that i'm proud of that) He has destroyed teams, you're right, but he doesn't have the same flair to his game he had when he first went to Man U. Like I said earlier, he seems very reluctant to put his foot though the ball and the speculative efforts are pretty few and far between. He's sacrificing himself for the team, playing almost like a wide midfielder at times, which is sad, for me, considering he's england's brightest attacking talent to emerge in the last 15 years.
  6. Bassong and Enrique need to stay more than Taylor imo. In an ideal world we'd keep all 3 to play alongside Beye

  8. Wasn't really £42m net though was it. how not?
  9. £42M+ spent on Michael Owen gave us 30 goals and 2 assists
  10. it never ends with you lot
  11. Ronaldo

    Jonas Gutierrez

the fact that Owen has 66 and Beye has 9 says all you need to know about that, tossers
  12. without selling Bassong i honestly think we could get past the £25m point It's a good time to be selling the likes of Colo back to spain because of the current pound-euro conversion. We could probably get £8m back
  13. Ronaldo

    I've had enough

Didn't Chelsea survive relegation by the skin of their bollocks in 93-94?
  14. hope we put at least £10m on the head of Martins
  15. Ronaldo

    Henrik Larsson?

Should we go For Sibierski now?
  16. It's very easy to have a second team when you use that critieria though. What sickens me is people actually being proud of it Sickens you? Have a word man. Second teams are essentially teams you don't really love and support, but just love to watch. Believe it or not, teams that play beautiful football are often successful. Messi clearly doesn't just love to watch Barca though. There's an awful lot of people in this country with Man U as their second team, and yes it sickens me, it's absolutely fucking pathetic
  17. 6 games into the season is what he said. Wise left with 8 games remaining

  19. In any case, I'd say less than £30k for our best player is an insult, regardless of league status. And I sincerely hope he's offered it.
  20. Respectfully disagree. I'd say Gerrard is currently the only genuine class act in the England side. And Lampard surely?
  21. Who is disputing that? We're on about wages here. I'm better at my job than loads of my seniors at work but they get more money than me, it's just the way of the world. I assume we're talking about some sort of corporate structure with your job though? Bassong and Taylor are a similar age and have exactly the same job description, with one of them following it significantly better Taylor isn't negotiating now though is he? They're not going to give Bassong what they can't afford, regardless of what Taylor is on. Likewise they can't tell Taylor he's not as good as they thought and tear his contract up. That, I completely accept. It's the experience argument that I disagree with
  22. So why has the Premier League been inferior excluding the top4 in recent years then? How do you arrive at that conclusion?
