he's much better than those two man
-
Bassong has the physical attributes to shine under circumstances which call for him to undertake extra responsibilities caused by the complete shambles of a midfield
-
Xisco will come good next season, as for Colo, I hope he gets the chance but I have my doubts he'll be here come August
-
competent is probably closer to the mark
-
We've already forgotten that Taylor is a good RB and a liability at CB
-
you still in favour of Butt starting?

from mister GOLDFINGER

how on earth we won that game is beyond me
-
Jonas has always looked really skinny to me like
-
Barton would be one of the few players who would stay if we went down imho, unless we sack him
-
Don't forget 'Big' Al is only 6 foot tall but he is a lot taller than most players. Football at the highest level seems to be a game played by people usually less than 6 foot tall. Carroll is 6 foot 2 inches and he towers over the rest of our squad. Shearer is nowhere near 6' though, for anyone's who's met him in the flesh. Bramble for example at 6'1 absolutely towered over him

Martins' header against Man U, or his first against Villa, or his cracker against Wigan

Did I say it was Owen's fault? Owen has managed 1 goal in his last 13 games and doesn't look like scoring anytime soon either. Unless we radically change the system there's no point having him in the side. Viduka is the answer to your question btw, not that anything in your absurdly bad post really warrants a response Well I think it's "absurd" how you contradict your earlier post saying "it's all in Shearer's hands now to be honest" by then stating that you want Owen to be taken out of the team when that's patently not going to happen whilst Shearer's manager and Owen is fit. Your absurdness is then compounded by your assertion that you'd prefer a half chance to fall to Viduka, as opposed to Owen, with our Premiership status on the line. I think you'll find that most agree that Viduka is a much more clinical finisher than Owen And where's the contradiction? Nobody is forcing Shearer to play Owen at gunpoint. Team selection is completely in his hands and if we continue to play Nolan, Butt and Owen in the same team we're down, no question whatsoever. Either the latter or the first two need to be dropped. With those three in the same team our record is absolutely abysmal, beyond relegation standard and even worse to fucking watch week after week

Didn't Geremi start every game we won last season bar 1 or 2
-
for the record, I've been advocating that we play Geremi ahead of Butt since last summer to be honest. Barton is our best central midfielder and most including myself have had that opinion since we signed him, regardless of form. As for Smith, well that's just how shocking Nolan and Butt have performed
-
Very arguably the best player during Keegan's short tenure this season. Massive shame, same goes for Jonas, Colo, N'zogbia and Martins, could have all been dynamite under the man himself
-
if tackling wasn't the weakest aspect of his game i'd say that role would be perfect for him, hope it improves because I love him as a prospect
-
Guthrie doesn't exactly have the best engine on him either. But I understand the sentiment. He doesn't but he's dynamic enough to be let of the leash and do an effective job in the right system
-
4-3-3 would suit Geremi better than any other player bar Owen to be honest. Let him sit deep and spray balls around whilst Barton and Guthrie do the legwork.
-
too slow yet quicker than Butt and Nolan. Clearly pace is hardly a legitimate reason for stating that he's not under-used

beyond fucking obsession

frig it, ma luck's been so good lately I can just about manage a shrug and a smile
