why N'zogbia is even considered to be an option for LB is beyond me. He's so, so bad there, never performed well in that position.
-
so nullify our biggest attacking threat, genius. Out of the two, Duff should have played LB
-
how about N'zogbia plays his best game for us this season on the left-wing then gets played LB when he's basically the worst full-back i've ever seen. incredible really so your blaming kinnear for enrique getting injured then in the warm up Of course he is. He's that bright so you agree that after N'zogbia played brilliantly at LW against Spurs he should moved to LB - a position he's absolutely woeful at??? Kinnear had so many better options. You dont put your most dangerous player at LB man, jesus. Even Edgar and Taylor are better in that position.
-
The leader today, though he didn't have a great game until the last twenty minutes, was Guthrie. Took the responsibility of the comeback solely on his shoulders and I was confident when he was the one to put the ball on the spot. says it all really. 21 year old Liverpool reject assumes leadership on a pitch full of seasoned internationals. "whatever you do, pick good people" - SBR fucking sickening

how on earth was Given world class?
-
No doubt, Geremi and Butt would have rallied us to victory much better. Seemed like the decent choice given what we had. Barton was a non starter. Yes Given would have been great but I dont think a GK carries the same influence as someone outfield. Or were you a voter for candidate Taylor? voted for Beye

When things really aren't going our way, the heads drop. Until the 75th minute we were absolutely woeful in the second half. No leadership whatsoever on the pitch. It looked like the players were happy to be down 1-0.

big mistake making by Keegan making Owen captain like
-
Hopefully Owen is injured, I've heard whisperings that suggest he may be (and also why Edgar replaced him). Carroll and Xisco upfront with Nile Ranger on the bench, then. as s**** as Owen can be (and is, half of the time) it's daft to hope he's injured
-
If Martins is out, i'd like to see Owen and Xisco against Pool, not a cunts chance in hell though.
-
Kinnear says Duff was magnificent
-
he probably means Martins, ie call the fucking game off
-
Leaning towards agreeing with you on this one tbh. Played out of his skin after the sending off but was negative and ineffective beforehand
-
Again, what the fuck are you getting at mate?
-
I was under the impression that Viduka had worked very hard to get back into shape, yet he looks as immobile, unfit and uninterested as ever, stupid b******. Clearly bound for Melbourne Knights or whatever the f***
-
Why bring up Bramble btw? Hardly doing badly atm is he
-
bump
-
Really speaks volumes that despite having 10 men on the pitch and only one up front, we looked our most dangerous with Owen and Viduka down the tunnel both should be ashamed of that pitiful performance tbh. Owen's lack of pace is quite incredible when he look at him 7 years ago
-
Of course it is man. Still doesn't alter the fact he was brilliant when he played here. He was. But people go on like he's Maldini man. He's England's forth choice at best yet you'd thing he'd get into a world Xl judging by some of the comments on here. I even remember arguing about 18 months back with more than one on here that though he was leagues ahead of Rio Ferdinand
-
Carroll's nowhere near good enough man
-
how about N'zogbia plays his best game for us this season on the left-wing then gets played LB when he's basically the worst full-back i've ever seen. incredible really
-
Without Oba we're nothing up front man. Our most important player by a mile and has been for a long time
-
big pal of Kinnear, who DOESN'T pick on reputations apparently
-
s**** as usual. Laughable how people think he deserves to be anywhere near the side. Another shining example of Kinnear NOT picking by reputation
