Must be the only person in the world that vertical stripes have a fattening effect on. probably the fact that his footballing bretheren are generally built like tooth-picks. At 14 1/2 stone i'd probably look obese out there So why isn't he? He's got a responsibility to keep himself in good shape. Why is it so hard for him to slim down and stay fit? He can't help picking up injuries but he could at least lose a bit of weight when he is fit. some people have more muscle mass than others and trying to loose this is counter-productive, simple as that Don't buy that, sorry. He's a professional athlete who is paid to keep himself in shape. He's responsible for his diet and fitness but he looks awful when he's apparently 'match-fit'. It's just not an acceptable situation for him to be in the shape he is in. He's carrying weight he shouldn't be. He's out of shape and looks grossly unfit - even when he's apparently fit. Full stop. coming from someone who spends 2 hours a day on physical fitness, if someone's genetically pre-disposed to being muscle-bound there's very little they can do about it. And yes, for someone who is paid to run around every day it causes problems if certain muscles and tendons cannot keep up. So it's genetic then? He's got a very 'muscular' stomach from what I've seen. it's possible, a big stomach doesn't always mean a fat stomach tbh

Convincing yourself of things like that will only leave you disappointed if they don't happen. I dont particularly want a big name. I just want a solid defender and 2 capable attacking players. If we dont get these, then yes I will be disappointed
-
Having read what Ashley's had to say I'm convinced we'll bring in a big name attacker in the next 2 1/2 weeks tbh
-
But is he also our best player that likes to have strawberry cheesecake with his coffee? I personally think that Bassong is our best player between all of our other players that are called Bassong. very productive

Mark Viduka going into JD sports in the metro centre earlier pushing a kid around. Nicely attired in shorts and t-shirt and looks a lot more slimmer in person

£4.5m for Warnock? it will take MORE? just about the biggest pisstake I've ever heard One thing's for the certain, if he comes in at such a price it'll be as a first choice LB, which is bullshit. Enrique is comfortably our best player under the age of 24 with the exception of Martins and should be a nailed on starter
-
being kind on Charles there N'zogbia at LB is probably the clearest example of a player being out of position since 05-06 with Ameobi on the wing/pitch
-
Not a big fan of Warnock but if his arrival means we never have to see N'zogbia anywhere near the LB position then sod it, why not
-
I told you he'd want to be away

hopefully Keegan may have changed his mind about Smith after Saturday

that wasn't against Spurs either, it was against Liverpool Evidence. it was 4-3 game. Barton scored a scruffy goal thru the legs of the keeper and then kicked the sound thing behind the goal Im sure Barton scored in a 1-0 win. it was the 4-3 against L'pool, how many f***ing times man?
-
that wasn't against Spurs either, it was against Liverpool Evidence. look it up yourself, but it was the game against Liverpool in 1997 where they went 3-0 up and we got in back to 3-3 through Gillespie, Tino and the man himself Warren Barton. Only for Fowler to make it 4-3 in injury time Definitely Barton after he slid it under James. through his legs while standing, very strange goal tbh

Problees looking for kids to run over. Mr Burns classic "I should be able to run over as many children as I like"
-
you're at it again man, think before typing s****. Cole's better than anything we've had in our midfield in over a decade, and i'm talking since Pedro

IF he stays, let the boo boys do whatever they want if it even helps slightly to keep him out of the starting Xl

Kev, Don't you expect Coloccini to start? I dont think there is anyone called Coloccini in our squad atm, so i doubt anyone called that could play. stop trying to look clever daft lad, you just look like a fucking idiot
-
N'zogbia in the team and Martins out of it, fucking genius find it funny that people are choosing Taylor and Coloccini, because they've probably never see either of them play
