madness McCarthy and Ritgers at Blackburn, the biggest shithole excuse for a town in the UK

Yes... He's too good to leave out. Duff's out for 5 months, Zoggy's pants at the moment and don't get me started on Luque. Honestly think Martins would be good there! Perhaps more of a 433 formation, can't make my mind up 100% at the moment, as still not 100% sure who's staying and who's going. Given Geremi Taylor Campbell Bridge Barton Butt Emre Milner Owen Martins Better?? the amount of people who consider Given the best in the premiership is frightening you're all insane What makes you say that? Because he has put him in our team? well no, because he called him 'the best in the premiership'
-
bullshit if ever i've read it Bridge is fantastic defensively and very, very competent going forward

Rather we tried to sort Zog out than Duff. rather we tried to sort both out. Who's the alternative, Luque?
-
goes for every other candidate with the exception of Given Which has sort of been my point from the first reply in this thread, funnily enough! I know what you mean but Given just cannot be captain, he cannot

He can neither beat his man nor cross a ball. 'Past it' doesn't even begin to describe. one poor season, Shearer had 1 under Gullit but seemed to come back alright Not bothered! If we can get a fee anywhere around £5m i'd take it. I was all for him being given time and not flogged instantly, but he's a crock who's legs were already going, and won't be much better now after ANOTHER major injury. And considering he's a player we never needed in the first place, and we've got potentially three other players in the squad who'd fill his role in a 4-3-3, i say just get rid of him, rather than huff and puff trying to make him work. Huff and puff trying to sort N'Zogbia out, regardless of attitude problems. Zoggy's paddies will be a doddle for Sam. BTW - in that poor season under Gullit, Shearer scored 21 goals. take away penalties and Shearer had an average of a goal every 4 games in the league N'zogbia might just be a lost cause, I hope not but.....

wouldn't you like to see Duff under a competent manager first?

I wouldn't bet on it sounds like we want him, and to be honest he'll have signed this time next week
-
until his next 6 out of 10 performance when he suddenly becomes 'promisingly solid if not spectacular'
-
can't see why so many people are against it being Emre
-
Barton, Viduka, Rozenhal and Geremi for £10m, quality!
-
I almost feel sorry for Ramage technically the worst nufc player i've ever seen but a good lad his girlfriend goes to my uni, right stuck-up cunt, but he's still not in the same league as Carr or Baba for 'want rid'
-
got to be despise him more than any player in the world as a guy who sits near me in the Gallowgate says, 'there's only two people alive I hate, and they're both Stephen Carr'
-
I'm not, I just don't want him as first choice RB and I think a few appearances here and there for Chelsea in the absence of anyone else are making people think he's better than he is in that position. If he was any good back there, he'd not be going for nowt. didn't Chelsea offer Bridge to us on August 30 for next to nowt, says more about the club than the player agree that he's not ideal as first choice RB but he's a country mile ahead of anything we've played there in recent seasons Don't think they did, I've never heard anything more than "ITK" nonsense. Find it very hard to believe that they would, and even if they did, they'd just signed/were about to sign a £16m left back. They don't have anyone who Mourinho genuinely likes at right back. could of sworn Kenyon made a reference to it never mind, just seen SSN, get the fuck in!

it would appear so Huntington, Taylor, Solano, CARR, Ramage have played there for us in recent times, says it all

Contradicts your point then doesn't it. Hilario's a good comparison because it shows s**** can start for Chelsea if they have enough men out. Mourinho said at one point that we were well off with Edgar and Huntington, which tells you the extent of their defensive crisis. If Geremi was considered good enough to start ahead of those two, how come he only started 15 league games? because for the other 23 league games he was considered not good enough to start ahead of those two? Contradicts your point then doesn't it. not really, Hilario was never considered good enough to be first choice was he? No but you said when Ferreira and Boularouz were fit, Cudicini and Cech weren't. right, which is why Hilario is a bad comparison, are we going round in circles for the hell of it or what? So if Hilario is a bad comparison why did you use him as one? Wullie did, I think you need to read the thread, my point was he was a 'bad' comparison

not to mention Robbie Elliot's diving header
