  1. You can have a go at Luque all you want, if he keeps scoring goals then that's good enough for me, he'll probably develop his game if he gets something like a run in the team. i remember 2 years ago when Shearer did nothing for 5 games then got a tap-in and everyone was applauding him, pathetic if someone has scored two goals in a game then cannot be terrible, no matter how little impact they've had on the rest of the game
  2. course we should, he'll want to come here also
  3. yeah well not according to me Hunt can at least control a football to an extent

as a guy who spends a lot of time lifting weights, it pisses me off when the 11 stone resentful c***s come out and accuse a guy who's obviously spent a lot of time developing his upper body of being 'fat' and 'out of shape' etc
  5. christ, Ramage is absolute garbage. you cannot get away with being able to simply 'hoof the ball away' in the premiership. His lack of pace, strength, aerial ability, game reading, ball control etc etc etc playing Ramage is like playing 3 at the back, it really really is
  6. omfg you've jus given me mental imagery of pattison sucking glenn off..........GOD DAMN YOU you love every second and don't deny it

what the hell are you on about?not only wos Taylor our bst defender last year he wos england u-21s best in the summer!Bramble got so many chances in all fairness and basically he wos s*** 9 times outta 10!for god sake he didnt even bother to look after him self!he looked like the honey monster! how do you know he didn't bother to look after himself? he spent enough time in the gym, even if for half of it he had the tripod out
  8. for Roeder Pattison was just another cock to suck. Allardyce will be different, he'll have him nowhere near the first team
  9. Carr was apalling defensively in the second half, every ounce of trouble was coming from his flank
  10. Or an even better prospect for left-wing. Ain't broke. Don't fix. ridiculous comment
  11. Oliver tomorrow: Harper showed a better workrate in his 12 minutes than Luque in his entire 45
  12. Lots of potential, yes. Noticably better than Steven Taylor is at the moment though, and I'm a fan of Taylor. How so? Only outstanding thing he has that Taylor doesn't in my opinion is pace, both just as strong/rash and if anything Taylor is more composed on the ball, he certainly has better control. Sorry but I see little difference between the two and if Richards is worth £20m then Taylor must be, which he isn't, neither of them are. Based on what I've seen, I'd have Onuoha ahead of Richards. come on, Richards is ten times more athletic, stronger and I cannot belive you think Taylor is better on the ball More athletic, how do you work that out, 10 times mor too? Do you even know what athletic means? As for stronger, again how do you work that one out? I bet you think he has a bigger nob as well... I think even Taylor's harshest critics will vouch for his strength, did you see his performance against Drogba last season at SJP? The Chelsea man just bounced off him like he was a brick wall and had to revert to shirt pulling. Ball control, if you watch Richards when he runs with the ball he overhits it and only his pace makes this less obvious as he strides to the ball, but to a keen eye you can see his control isn't the greatest, Taylor's is very good on the hand, he's quite comfortable on the ball for a CB. I stand by my comment, they are similar players in terms of where they are at, both huge potential but a long way to go, any differences are marginal. You can believe Richards is 10 times better though, if you want he's a hell of a lot quicker and more agile than Taylor strength? yes he did very well against Drogba but i've also seen him muscled off the ball by strikers with average strength. Richards seems very strong I don't think Richards is 10 times better and never said that, I do think he's better though

  14. 16 until first game of season,we need players before the Bolton game not 31st Aug yeah too right too many times we've got to late August hoping we might just be able to steal a uefa place. Things need to be in place well before the first game of the season.
  15. shame they're leaving it so late
  16. of course he didn't, he's built like a feather and has no engine
  17. anyone who thinks playing Solano in any attacking role is anything but a massive step backwacks for the club..... very pissed off if true

    Penalty Taker?

Nobby, as much as I love him, will last 5 minutes in midfield
  19. you obviously know politics as well as you know football then
  20. Owen followed by Viduka and Luque
  21. Ronaldo

    Penalty Taker?

yep Owen shouldn't be anywhere near the candidate list for penalty takers. Emre or Solano (if on the pitch) for me

    Nicky Shorey

you've seen Shorey play how many premiership games? you can't really make a comment like that
  23. If you are talking literally I guess that makes sense; as in we were a much better side 96-97 than in 05-06... but all in all it's a rather foolish thing to say. we were also better in 95-96 than 96-97
  24. Beardsley by a mile, his class made up a team to be feared in those early prem seasons when the southern cunts were laughing at us Shearer does not represent a good transfer, with him in the team we went backwards, regardless of his personal achievements
