  1. that said, good reporting, wish i'd been there
  2. jesus, free drink all night or something
  3. Fiiiiine we'll take Drogba off their hands. Martins------Owen-------Drogba Despite his undoubted talent i would f****** hate it if we signed Drogba. He's a cheating, moaning, self obsessed fucktard! yes, of course you would. Why is it so hard to believe? I pay my money to be entertained, not to watch some arsehole throw himself to the ground like he's been shot every time someone brushes his shirt. The guy is an embarassment, a total disgrace to football! I couldn't give a toss how good he is, i genuinely would not want him to play for the team i support. Goals are boring like. Btw, what a load of s***. while i wouldnt go so far as to say i'd hate it if he signed, i'm not far away from agreeing with steve on this. i think drogba's an embarassment as a player and as a human being, i'd find it very very difficult indeed to support him but you'd be happy for us to sign El Hadj Diouf who throws his pregnant wife down the stairs for christsakes Drogba goes down a bit too easy, doesn't make him the devil
  4. fuck Man u and their bastard fans, fuck Ronaldo, Neville and everyone associated with the cunting bollocks of a club, fucking hate them Chelsea fan for the next 2 weeks

He's a cheating, moaning, self obsessed fucktard! indeed, Drogba is the best striker in the world, to say you'd hate it is ridiculous Moaning, self obsessed, cheating. Did you hate it when Shearer was here?

Taylor, Butt, Geremi and Viduka renewed faith in the opinions of NO
  9. Agree with this - main asset pace but no way can he be compared to the likes of Henry etc. 23 year old Henry can be compared to the 23 year old Martins tbf. That said i'm not suggesting Martins will ever be as good as a peak Henry
  10. indeed, it's bad enough the homepage says 'modric deal close'
  11. content tbh they're a top 8 pairing, we should be aiming for better what, you would be happy competing with the might of Blackburn and West Ham next season? I'd see it a step-up from where we've been, personally. absolutely, back to 2006 with Roeder. I was content with that, not happy

  14. people would rather Taylor be in the team than Faye, madness
  15. Why not? I think he'd be ideal to help progress Taylor's career. because they're both slow and vunerable against pacey, agile strikers and before anyone throws 'Terry and Carvalho' at me, those two are great defenders with excellent game reading skills who still manage to strugle now and then against a quick attack
  16. I hope everyone knows we cannot pair Taylor and Dunne
  17. you have to think that out of the 4 people who voted for Carr, 3 were drunk and 1 was him
  18. 32, thing is though Beardsley wasn't as reliant on his physical attributes AND he seemed to have a 20 year old's pace till about 97
  19. wasn't there a story on here once about someone approaching Mcdermott for an autograph in Eldon Sqaure and getting a drink thrown in his direction in return made me laugh. McDermott's a cunt, still think of him alongside Souness, having a go at Bellamy despite having never met him
  20. there's no risk in keeping him. He's looking more and more like a fantastic asset.

As far as I'm concerned we would have had the poor Keegan results under Allardyce, I don't feel that confident about the better results under Keegan being repeated under Allardyce. Yes some of the better results have came against poorer teams but these are the same poorer teams who were getting results against us earlier in the season, we are still the only team to lose to Derby in the league and we've only got 3 league games left for that to change. Like you say "results alone don't tell the whole story," we played some very difficult games off the belt and Keegan hadn't really a chance to know his players, under the circumstances I think he's done a brilliant job. Weve actually started to play football that is worth watching, players who were not performing are starting to look like footballers, mostly Alan Smith isnt getting a game and that has been a bonus as we now take to the field with 11 players instead of 10 on a good day, not that we had many of those as we had so many under performers. We can now go to a game knowing that even if we do get beat were going to go about it the right way and try to win instead of trying to contain the dregs of the league, which to be fair, we had become one of them. i'm in agreement with this - we were always losing the games we lost under keegan the only question was how long would the bad run last and could keegan pull us out of it personally i had my doubts (the villa performance/result was a big influence on that opinion as it happens) and they were based on genuine questions about whether keegan could still perform at the top level and turn us around without money; 3 years out of the game, underwhelming at man city without cash etc... he's sold me on the fact that he should be the man to lead us into a new period with recent results but brummie makes an excellent point frankly some of the pro-keegan stuff during his losing run was an embarrassment (as is some of it now), it was like you'd insulted someone's mam for being s*** at her job and the only reason the people were defending her was 'cause "she's me mam" the landscape has changed now somewhat - anyone not behind the guy is clearly an idiot that said, some of the criticism some dickheads on here threw at Keegan was even more of an embarrassment, someone even called him a cunt ffs
  22. ah well, anyway describing Martins as having a 'deft touch' is the only thing i could find wrong with that article
