  1. If Debuchy was better at dealing with 'being exposed' we'd have seen more of HBA this season. And now they're leaving in the same window. Fucking typical, like.
  2. Especially one who looks like Nasri, like.
  3. Mind, that's quite astute from Buffon based on one friendly game in which he played. Impressive.
  4. I've always thought Gerrard was overrated and he's certainly well past his best physically but that's a biased car crash of an article.
  5. 16th and 5th constitutes mid-table now?
  6. He'll be 31 before the next one. What a waste.
  7. Hitting the ball short distances instead of long ones, the true footballing barometer.
  8. That stat doesn't surprise me. He's our best CM by a distance.
  9. Yes he is and yes it is.
  10. You don't like him, we got that 7 years ago, mate.
  11. Rooney was in superb form going into WC 2010 but he just didn't fire at all, unfortunately. I think we'll see the best of him this time round.
  12. So all these managers getting the sack after a few months are s***? Nope but Mel was the wrong fit, . Sherwood wasn't good enought, ditto Moyes. Jol was s*** at fulham. Di Canio at Sunderland. I can't really think of any that didn't deserve it tbh Sherwood didn't deserve to keep his job with the best win percentage of any Spurs boss in PL history? No he lost too many to the teams above them and to top it off was completely unprofessional in everything he did. Pulling a fan out of the crowd to sit in the managers seat. Rank stupidity Oh, right. Who gives a s*** how many wins he got if he was losing to the teams above him. As for the fan, I suppose Keegan doing it several times while boss of us was rank stupidity too. well yes. You've answered your own question really. Not sure who you're arguing with really. Keegan took a fan, mid game and allowed them to sit and "manage" in a PL game "several times" did he? Got a link to that happening? http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php?topic=68275.0 That bloke would often be invited to sit in the dugout and nearby by Keegan in our promotion season and the first season in the PL. Honestly, as if having a bit of banter with a fan could be construed as a legitimate contributing factor in a bloke losing his job. Some of you need to put 'Footie Man' down and get out into the real world.

  15. Couldn't give a fuck if we had a new one every 6 months, sooner or later hopefully we'll get a good one, so if that's what it takes so be it.
  16. I thought he was fucking shit, just for the record.
  17. Not aimed at me surely? Anyway, you whined about Hughton, now you whine about Pardew and if we sack him for Pulis you would be whining about him in no time too. I know it's unlikely with Ashley, but I would like us to go for a better grade of manager next. Don't know why that's worthy of ridicule? I don't remember being negative much about Hughton at all when he was permanent manager. I'd like us to go for a better grade of manager than Sherwood or Pulis too but it isn't going to happen, and keeping Pardew certainly isn't remotely preferable to either.
  18. You said you wouldn't take Moyes as a replacement not 2 weeks back, man.
