Terry and Ferdinand were absolutely brilliant in WC 06 and Stones and Maguire don’t deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence. We just had nobody to score goals when it mattered back then. When people talk about our ‘golden generation’ it’s much easier to criticise the collective than identify the isolated issue - our ‘goalscorers’, namely Owen, were utter nonentities in the tournaments.

Shearer was as much to blame as Bellamy etc, if not far more. Was unhappy about being brought off late on in a friendly at 34 and made it clear. Never thought it was coincidence he was sacked 2 days after dropping him for Kluivert.
-
I remember Bobby's interview after the Villa game alluding to the fact he didn't want Shearer to always take them.
-
Robert carried us for most of that season. His best football in our shirt.
-
He definitely would. But that’s one of his best qualities.
-
I've seen him twice in the last year - both times in the Trafford Centre with his Mrs. I don't think he's too well.
-
Don't agree with that. Schar has always been class and looked it last season next to Burn too.
-
Did you hear ‘Gareth Southgate Super Coach’?
-
Schar closely followed by Almiron. Honourable mentions to Pope, Trippier and Bruno.

Or because I can read. “I think the vast majority of fans are against what the owners are doing." https://inews.co.uk/sport/football/newcastle-fans-protest-saudi-arabia-execution-young-people-chelsea-1940661 Honestly, these fucking clowns are an embarrassment. Our owners have transformed the club in the past year and hopefully are fully aware of how appreciative the fanbase is.

Have a word. Murphy has done OK and he's a likeable character who's improved a bit, but you cant compare his contribution this season to that of Willock or Schar.
-
Not really. They're twats. The culture over there is premised wholly on their religion. Isolating them from the rest of the work or holding up signs will change fuck all. All we can do is maintain a relationship and encourage them to continue evolving. Of course that's before you even consider the disconnect between us a footballing entity and issues in a society 4000 miles away. Our owners have, up until now, done exactly what they said they would and then some, while showing the upmost respect for the club and the fans. Anyone protesting against them can fuck right off.

Just seen the full time footage courtesy of a Chelsea blog. Schar straight in Havertz’s face when the ref blew. Brilliant.

Taking the ball for a corner when it was clearly a throw, then Burn celebrating in Havertz face. Brilliant.

Best defender I’ve ever seen for us on his 2022 form. He’s just there every time you need him and makes it look easy.
-
Played up front against Norwich and scored twice.
-
Chris Wood up front for this.
-
That Australian squad is hilarious.
-
Decent ish team put out. Just no goals in it unfortunately. No one in that side has more than 1 this season off the top of my head.
-
Yeah he’s mostly been great. Schar is the boss mind - best CB in the league this season.
-
Totally. Been great today.
