Could also say if Mancini/City had handled the situation better they would be champions. Either way, they self destructed in spectacular fashion. Mancini handled it exactly how he should have imo. Tevez's fault when it all comes down to it. Mancini has lost all credibility this season, twice, by jumping the gun and saying Tevez and Balotelli would never play for the club again only to look like an idiot afterwards.
