He tried to gouge his eye out! http://www.talksport.co.uk/sites/default/files/imagecache/ts_news_article_header_image/blog/Mourinho-eye-Gouge.jpg
  2. Was Bardsley, but he played RB against Liverpool and Richardson LB. Richardson's a liabilty. Charge down the right!!

    U23s & Academy

Didnt he turn down a move to Man U a few years ago? Met with Ferguson, but a deal couldn't be reached for some reason. http://www.espoirsdufootball.com/643-interview-exclusive-de-darnel-situ-du-rc-lens.html
  4. They lack creativity as well. Cattermole and Colback just break the ball up and pass it sideways. Simpson needs to stop backing off his man and make sure Larsson doesn't cut in with his right foot. I'm pretty confident that we can stop them scoring. Colo and Taylor look to be playing well. It just depends if we've got the finishing touch.
  5. If Sunderland lined up, as they did against Liverpool. Elmohamady was on the right wing and Larsson left.

    Sunderland...

haha, I don't know what I was thinking.

    Sunderland...

I don't think either club have ever worn their away strip in a derby.

    Other clubs' transfers

Me and my drunken emails. Aye, Blackburn. Supposedly Schalke won't drive a hard bargain, but the stumbling block will be the £100k wages he's currently on.

    Other clubs' transfers

Schalke have confirmed that they've received an email enquiring about Raul and Schalke will be talking to Raul about the move tonight. No joke.

    Other clubs' transfers

Would leave a half-fit Saha and Anichebe as their only strikers?
  11. Hamburg not doing themselves any favours. Their defence has been shocking. Even though Dortmund's movement is excellent, Hamburg defenders and midfielders aren't tracking their men. And Mancienne looks out of his depth.

    Summer from Hell

I wouldn't rely on that Premier League 'index' - it's a joke how points are given.

According to Opta, he attempted 1009 passes, completing 877 = 87% pass rate. But on the downside, he only created 26 goalscoring chances, 1 assist. That's pretty poor for an attacking midfielder. Not important when you've scored 12 goals. Perhaps. Someone similar. Tim Cahill 9 goals. 3 assists from 33 chances created.

  15. Had Tiote, when he signed for us? Surely he must have, otherwise his work permit would have been rejected first time round? And he must have had a work permit to play for FC Twente too.
  16. Doing it in the summer before pre season starts.
  17. I'd blame the club. I have to get CRB checked and it's the responsibility of my employer to tell me when it's due for renewal.

  19. Naaah, he was having a David Brent hour, where he would tweet the best Brent quote.
  20. I don't like the look of these processing times
  21. Perhaps he has to get it renewed every year? Our staff should have pre-empted this in any case. Useless feckers.
  22. For Spurs. Hearts are gonna get shafted!
  23. Ivorians have to go to Ghana to get a UK visa http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/countries/ivory-coast/?langname=UK%20English&randnum=1312524324731
  24. It's on Bet365 if anyone is interested. Looking forward to it. It'll be the first time I've properly followed the Bundesliga and I've adopted Hamburg as my team. With Barrios out and Sahin sold, Hamburg with a younger team - do you think we might nick a point?
  25. i respectfully disagree. it's more than a little short sighted to believe that because someone's paid well they should keep their opinions to themselves, and that goes for anyone not just footballers. I'm not sure about you but if I wanted a footballer to be a 'role model' which i'm not sure about anyway! Then I'd certainly want my kids to look up to the sort of person who speaks out on what they perceive as injustices or wrong doing, not the sort of person who takes the money and shuts up, that's an appalling example for any kid. Sportsmen? Noble purpose? What are you talking about? They're paid to play football, that's it. I think there are channels where unhappy players can vent their anger, but it shouldn't be on twitter or in the press. If you're unhappy, it should be discussed behind closed doors.
