I think CL changes a lot of things Ikon - if this was a non CL window I think we’d buy Tierney - A mid - Maddison with CL football we buy 2 stars and 1 additional player (CB) with the money and sponsor deals

My 2 biggest outlays would be Szabozlai and Raphinha with this in mind Then you top it up with Maddison Which leaves K Thuram - Tierney and Disasi/Danso etc as your other signings

I think he’d cost between 25-35m - Bayern bought him for circa 16m so it’s a decent profit for them after 1 year

I don’t think it’s an actual release clause - just a verbal agreement player and club have - that if he is sold - this is what we will look to recoup for you (just something I read)
