We’ll see very soon what their true ambition is. They can either go big or go to Championship.
-
Im not at all impressed by Howe, if you compare it to Gerrard at Villa, it seems very likely that we made wrong decision.
-
Howe is not doing very well, I’m starting to doubt he is the right man to change all this around.
-
I would love to see Bruce coaching Cristiano Ronaldo
-
Ashley gone ☑️ Bruce gone ☑️ Charnley gone ☑️ Still seems like a dream
-
Süle is not going to change from Bayern to us, it’s just agent trying to get better contact unfortunately. Would be world-class signing.
-
I hope he ends up being our Diego Simeone. What Iike about Howe is that he has shown commitment on his previous job. He’s all in and all commited and that’s what we need right now. Managers like Mourinho, Ancelotti, Conte and even Emery are always one call away from likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid. Obviously they are at this moment higher calibre managers, but right now we need a manager that is going to be committed at seeing this through and taking us to the next level. And as I said earlier, I hope Howe can grow with us to be next level manager.

How the hell is it possible that Premier League club doesn’t have fitness coach?!
-
I’d much rather go for world-class DoF than letting Howe dictate that.
-
Excited to see Xavi as Barcelona manager.
-
Howe was not my first choice, not even close, but now I just want him in, because we need someone to steady the ship quickly. He might surprise us all and this could be his big chance, it makes him more motivated than someone like Conte, Mourinho - or even Emery. Having said that, he is not the manager to take us to next level, but he will hopefully be here helping us get there. And who knows if he can grow with us. We need manager ASAP.
-
If we go for Howe, hopefully the contract is only until end of the season. He’s not the manager to attract top players.

Yes, I do know this. I’m just tired that it seems we are still thinking small like with Ashley. There is a lot of great managers out there, who would love to have a chance at Premier League. Just seems we are not making the progress we should be. This club is total mess at the moment and the structures are not there. But what we have is money and we really need to start using it to save us from going down. I’m one of those who have been constantly saying that it is better to make right choice rather than quick choice, but we really need to start making progress soon to save us. We need to start making right decisions quicker. We have lots of people advising what to do, but don’t seem to have that person who has vision to do it. We need manager and we need DoF, just go for RALF RANGNICK! Rangnick has done the same with RB Leipzig, worked as temporary manager before going DoF. He has so much vision and knowledge. Give him the job and let him sort this out before going for world-class manager in the summer.
-
We have money, so much money. Just use it to lure great manager, offer something that just can’t be rejected. Manager is more important than some £20 million signing. It is the most important choice for us in a very long time.

I don’t think Emery would mind leaving Villarreal, so from those who are under contract, he should be much easier to get than for example ten Hag. But I think we should go all-in for ten Hag, because he is that sort of manager that could change this whole club to new level. Obviously Ralf Rangnick as DoF with Hasenhüttl as manager would be excellent too.
-
Leonardo Jardim actually makes sense, though probably BS. But would be exactly who PIF would look at.
-
At BVB Favre was not in charge of signing players, don’t know about previous clubs he managed. Dortmund have their own scouting network.
-
This is truth. Having no good plan for attacking play with world-class players gets you good xG too, when situations don’t come so much, but attackers use them well. But with Favre it’s even more about not even shooting until it’s absolutely sure to score.
-
Favre can prove how wrong stats can be. It is because his side never seem to shoot at any situation except until it is almost sure goal. It can be very frustrating to watch and just shows how stats are not the whole truth. And obviously having someone like Håland helps alot.
-
Yes, in that sense he might actually be perfect ? At Gladbach and Nice he had money to spend and low expectations, so he has found ideal jobs to go to - and we are currently in same situation. I am pretty sure that this is his pitch for this job with us. But we have all-around better options than him. Mind I’m not convinced about Fonseca either and I would rather go for someone who can bring us to next level. I prefer likes of Ten Hag, Unai Emery and Ralf Rangnick.
-
Yes, have to give him respect on those, however the last season with Gladback was far more than horrible and he has shown that he is unable to change when things are going bad and that is very worrying considering our situation. We have to remember that Gladbach is not small club and he had very good side there, so he wasn’t doing somehow special job there. Gladbach has resources to do well and they have done well after him too. And same goes with Nice, they do have money to spend and it’s not like Nice and Gladbach are small clubs that he got to overperform - not at all. He did decent job for small time there. Did not do spectacular job, but not horrible neither. He has been having luxury to spend money and get good players to work with. It would be big gamble to put him working with this side, although we will probably spend in January. He is NOT great option and many people seem to see him much better option than what he really is. It’s not about good balanced defense with him.

You do realize that Favre is awful at organizing defense? I’ve been watching BVB every week last 15 years and Favre is easily worst during that time in organizing defense. i have been very active saying NO to Favre, because he is NOT good enough. Horrible at organizing defense, even worse at making changes during the game. During Favre’s time BVB was completely relying in good attacking players on the expense of defense. BVB kept conceding 4-5 goals against likes of Stuttgart and Hoffenheim, because Favre’s team kept week in week out giving out easy goals. At the end it was so easy to attack against Dortmund that no matter how good the attack was, the defense was so poorly organized that the balance was not there at all. Favre also has bad habit at not being able to turn around the results after things did not work anymore. His last season at Gladbach is something worth remembering before giving him any job. Or obviously his end at BVB. I have kept saying here that Favre is NOT the right man for us, but players like Håland and Sancho did so much good that even with Favre’s complete lack of balance and organizing defence many still see him as good option. Amanda read this: NO to Favre! Have to add too: if you go for Favre, you need to spend VERY much on attacking players if you want to stay in PL. Favre can’t organize defence, but with players like Sancho and Håland then he can do OK job, if you don’t expect nothing at all.

Gattuso could be Ando’s surprise name.
