Disagree that he didn't learn anything from Croatia. What fucked us there was that we ran out of energy after 60 minutes. We were done. We managed this tournament so well that in every game I was convinced as the game went on we'd win on fitness alone. There is progression - might not be perfect, but to say he's not learning is just bullshit imo.

Massively disagree with the "doesn't know the best 11" chat. Part of what has been so successful up until the final is that Southgate picked the team for the opposition we were facing. There is no "best 11", only the best team to face what you're up against.

Agree with this. Up until tonight we've been raving about Southgate making the right choices. I've doubted him, and he's proved me wrong consistently right up until tonight. More than willing to give him another chance - one bad game should not write a manager off.
