Lets hope the cunts lose. In all seriousness though i really like Lille. Met one of their fans in a coffee shop in Amsterdam prior to the 2010/11 season, he was a top bloke. Offered me and my friends to stay with him in Lille and get us free tickets to the match. Bloke was an absolute pot head so we kindly declined invitation. But i remember him raving about the quality of Lille's side prior to that season. He loved Debuchy, Cabaye, Sow, Hazard, Gervinho and Adil Rami. I thought he was just an over enthusiastic fan at the time, but boy did they have a good squad that season.

No, I meant the young Australian keeper we had on trial (Ryan or something?). Not sure what's happening with him. Luongo looks good but like ML says he's a couple of years away. So if last year was a year of Frenchies, we're now trying to load up with Dutch lads (assuming we get him and Douglas). Does it have something to do with them flopping in the most recent major tournament? Nothing to do with any of that. Theres about a 10% chance we will sign either Affelay or Douglas. The only common denominator for all our transfers are the age of the target and whether the price is "good value."
