  1. You don't disagree with my point though, that for him to be a permanent fixture in our team as it stands (and hopefully going forward) he has to become the best Aussie defender since Joe Marston? I havent disagreed Sewelly. At the end of the day my main allegiances lay with what is best for Newcastle United. So any attempt to troll me into a reaction about "Australian players being s***" is going to be unsuccessful. Posting a list of Australia's greatest footballers and future talents suggests otherwise. Just educating the population of this message board on the state of Australian football whilst we are on topic

  3. Mark Bresciano, Mark Schwarzer, Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka, Jason Culina, Luke Wilkshire, Lucas Neill, Craig Moore, Scott Chipperfield, Tim Cahill, Vince Grella have been/all genuinely good players. We are a top 20 side in the world and are in a rebuilding stage. We have some good young players coming through like Rhys Williams (Middlesborough), Matthew Spiranovic (Urawa Red Diamonds), Tommy Oar (FC Utrecht), Tom Rogic ( Winner of Nike Academy), Mustafa Amini (Borussi Dortmund-next season) Matthew Leckie ( Borussia Monchengladbach), Chris Herd (Aston Villa) and Massimo Luongo (Tottenham Hotspur)
  4. Most unimaginative pun award goes to...... Thats a Good idea, actually. Good Point Good Riddance
  5. Would love Barnetta .. He has that extra something that could once again take our play to a new level.
  6. Saw him play a few weeks ago in person .. lots of potential but could do with some Coloccini mentoring.
  7. Most Australian football fans dont think hes far enough in his development yet, but he played 25 first team games in a very good Melbourne side who like to play football out from the back, which is good for a 19 year old.
  8. Melbourne Heart have announced that "Curtis Good" a 19 year old Australian centre back has left the club and is currently on trial with Newcastle United in the English Premier League. Dont know who would have scouted him for a trial or whether its his agent touting him about. But Im a big follower of the A-league and Good has never stood out as a player with the potential to play in the Premier League. However best of luck to him and lets hope he can perform well enough to be awarded a contract.

No one is really complaining that Demba isnt scoring goals, because we are still winning so its a non-issue. The issue is with his all round game, he looks lethargic and his passing and option selecting has been off the past 2 games. I thought he played the supporting role from the left fabulously against West Brom and Liverpool.
  10. Krul Simpson Willo Colo Santon Tiote Guthrie HBA Cabaye Jonas Cisse
  11. £50 Million plus Skrtel. If they don't pay it on time well charge them 15000 pounds fucking interest!
  12. The guy interviewing Cabaye blatantly fancied him ... kept hugging him .. exchanging twitter ... lucky bastard
  13. Obertan. Imagine if Obertan came good. Ive figured out what his problem is anyhow. His exceptionally large brain has caused him to overthink too much. Thats why when on the ball all he does is useless stepovers and then pass it back to Simpson. If we could somhow simplify his brain to knock past defenders, run onto the ball, then cross. Does Dr. Steadman specialise in brain reductions?
  14. Would love to but i dont have a HD camera .. Best of luck with it all though. Btw Perth isnt really Australia to be fair.. id say perth to australia is what geordies are to england.

    Harry Redknapp

Cisse Bale Van der Vaart Ben Arfa Modric Tiote Now that is a dream team.
  16. Think it would depend if he flys under the radar of the rich clubs .. ie. PSG, Spurs, Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, FC Bayern ...
  17. My current form 11 would be: Krul Ivanovic Konscielny Kompany Baines Valencia Dempsey Scholes Ben Arfa Cisse RVP But thats over that past 10 games. Team of the season is over the whole 38 games. If a players has missed more than 10 games through injury or suspension i dont think they can be considered.
  18. wat? Lucas is now the equivalent to Busquets? What are we drinking here? Have to agree with Stu .. Busquets is of a complete different class to Lucas.
  19. Does sound freezing like .. I know when I have to ice my ankle in a bucket of ice and water .. i squeel like a little girl. Hate to think what Demba was going through. Imagine the temperature change if Tiote got in there. It would instantly heat back to normal temperature.
  20. Presumably your body temperature takes time to lower. Id say thats Farenheit.

  22. Hope Jones has a blinder after all hes been through. Hes a local lad from Perth where Im from, missed out on the world cup due to his sons illness. His son sadly passed away from cancer. Now its his time to do something special. I can feel it.
  23. Lets remember Stoke are the team who booed Ba for 90 minutes.. hes definately going to score
  24. Krul Ivanovic Kompany Coloccini Baines Valencia Silva Song Bale RVP Rooney
