Lets be honest, the king has no idea whos coming in and out of the club. That's one of the few positive things I have to cling to. Also the fact that he has said that, makes me think we will sign another striker. It just a tactic to keep the price down and show we aren't desperate.

Something will give before the end of the transfer window. I can see him being loaned out to another mid table/promoted side. Hes worth a punt for these clubs, who will otherwise never be able to attract a player of his calibre.

I suppose as long as Charnley is actually spending money we don't recoup then it may be fine. 6 players for the money received on Cabaye and Debuchy deals essentially.
