I would say its unlikely, mainly because flights from Heathrow fly direct to KL/Dubai/Singapore. The only airline that fly's direct from Newcastle is Emirates and it is far more expensive. Thats why people fly from Amsterdam.
It makes it alot more real for people, when its affected something close/special to them. But I agree we've lost 298 innocent citizens of the world and it is incredibly tragic. 28 Australians and 2 Newcastle fans passing away, does hit home alot more for me personally.
Im impressed by his attitude, we need players like this who are at the club for the right reasons. In de Jong, Cabella and Janmaat I feel we have that.
Lets be honest, the king has no idea whos coming in and out of the club.
That's one of the few positive things I have to cling to.
Also the fact that he has said that, makes me think we will sign another striker. It just a tactic to keep the price down and show we aren't desperate.
Something will give before the end of the transfer window. I can see him being loaned out to another mid table/promoted side. Hes worth a punt for these clubs, who will otherwise never be able to attract a player of his calibre.
