  1. Urgh. Id also like to thank myself, for the patience i showed while hitting the refresh key on the keyboard on this forum.
  2. Whats this crap I read about the King saying we need now have one of the best attacks in the premier league.
  3. O rly? Debuchy, Sisoko, Mbiwa, Cabella, Siem de Jong, Cisse, Luuk de Jong, Remy (kind of), these are all players we were linked with for years.
  4. If our other striking targets are from the French League or have played in the French league as reported, Im thinking they are Aubemayang or Aboubakar.
  5. You can speak English. This is your forum. I can understand written English. My problem is that I can't construct sentences in English so I use google translation to try to make me understand. Aulas (Lyon president) and the new coach (Hubbert Fournier) want to keep Lacazette. The fans too. Lyon could sell Grenier but Lacazette seems very complicated. Without him, Lyon couldn't hope to finish in third place to qualify for the Champions League and he hasn't finished progressing. If he continues as he has this season, he could score 25-30 goals next season and Lyon could sell very expensive in 2015. He's the best young player (with Martial) formed by Lyon since Benzema. An offer of 20 million would be its current price but his importance to Lyon is huge so I don't think it would suffice. Especially that Aulas sold last season Anthony Martial (huge potential) because the club refused to sell Gonalons Naples and they needed money. The fans were angry, they are insulted Aulas on Twitter and Facebook saying before he was a great president but the last 4 years he becomes a crazy old man. They have already sold Gomis and Antony Martial. They only have two strikers : Lacazette and Benzia (good potential but no experience) So I don't think Lacazette leave except Newcastle offers 25 million. I cant see Newcastle spending anywhere near that amount. Can you think of any other strikers in Ligue 1, that Newcastle could potentially target? Vincent Aboubakar ( 10-15 millions ) much better than Rivière, he scores 16 goals in 36matchs. Wissam Ben Yedder he scores 17 buts in 42 matchs ( 5 assists ) I don't know how much he costs but he's very good, he has played with Rivière at Toulouse and we saw that he was much better than him! Problem, he isn't tall and not very strong, I don't know if his profile is suitable for the Premier League. Is Aboubakar a target man type player?
  6. Apparently Ashley was royally p*ssed off when Kinnear didnt sign any players in two transfer windows and sold Cabaye at a reduced price. So I imagine hes quite happy with the work Charnley is doing. I suppose as long as Charnley is actually spending money we don't recoup then it may be fine. 6 players for the money received on Cabaye and Debuchy deals essentially. Wonder if we plan on spending that 60 odd million TV money we have. Not a chance. I think that after we have filled the gaps in the squad. Two strikers and a replacement CB if Mbiwa leaves. We will only sign a player if we think its an exceptional deal.
  7. If hes available for anywhere between 10-15 mill, we will be in for him for sure. Hes been our number 1 target for a few years, and we always seem to get them eventually.

  11. Sounds like it has something to do, with Janmaat or Feyenoord.
  12. We should just sign big Drogba up for one season.
  13. Some strikers dont start scoring until their mid 20's, Cavani was a 1 in 3 striker until he turned 24.
  14. Our transfer business isnt ideal, but our squad is still top 7/8 in the premier league. We should be seeing far better footballing performances, from this squad. All of this comes down to Pardew. Yes with Ashley we are not going to be challenging for much, but lets take baby steps and try and drive Pardew the fuck out of this club.
  15. West Brom Away, Manchester Utd Home, Liverpool Home, Stoke Home. They were all outstanding games.
  16. That first half was the best we've played under Pardew IMO. Yes and the Liverpool game around the same time.
  17. Its annoying that HBA and Marveaux cant even get a look in against Oldham in a meaningless friendly.
  18. Seen him on a couple of the reserve games streams, and me and slim went to the Chelsea cup game and he was really good. Looked above their lads tbh Sounds promising, hes a winger?
  19. Aarons must be impressing, anyone know much about him?
  20. Why is our best cm playing at right back? Maybe Colback will play there?
