Does it matter playing your best players and trying to win games? -
Disagree thought he didn't get the ball much admitably but always did something worthwhileish with it Like what? I remember a couple of nothing balls, a couple of balls to feet, but 'worthwhile' ? I'm struggling. I don't think he was poor, but as an a creative player are member nothing of note?
-
There's something wrong with him for sure. Last season despite the shit service he was running his balls off and chasing things down. Not sure he has touched the ball more than ten times in thefirst two games.
-
Barely seen him all game. I like the lad but he needs to get involved more.
-
Is he fit for the bench at least next week?
-
After 1 game against Kompany? It wasn't who he was against, it was the lack of ball control or an ounce of ability to hold the ball up. He was just awful. I agree, he was. But to say he has got worse from last season after 1 game is dim as fuck.

That ship has sailed tbh. I dont think so. We cant all sit here and p*ss and moan then ultimately do nothing about it. I'm not talking about a group effort but it would be interesting to see what people are doing as individuals. I think we will actually sign two more anyway, but would seriously consider my ticket if we bring in no one. Why would you give up something you've already paid for? Well why do you think? For being took the p*ss out off, for having enough of the regime, to make a (very small) stand. Like everyone keeps saying, you keep going back and nothing will change. I completely agree, sadly because of the actual money people pay for tickets etc they will want to get some value. Next season though, I can see being a mass exodus. I've given mine up this season. Various reasons but mainly to do with not enjoying matches at all now for the price, might go to a few away games as I know plenty of people who have ST's I can use. Well, like I say, i do actually think we'll bring a couple in I just dont think it will happen until the last couple of days. If it didnt, then I'll certainly rethink.

Sounds like an incentive tbh.

Oh yes. This should be fun.

Jonas is inj. Think it will be much tighter than people think. It's much better to play the good teams early doors. If you're a good side, that's probably true - like when Spurs got spanked off Man City and Man Utd in successive fixtures but then went on to build a great season anyway, but if your team is built on foundations of sand (as ours is), if you hit a slump early, you tend to stay in it for the season - as we did last year. Much prefer some confidence-boosters/early points on the board/momentum. Trying to drum up a bit of positivity bro. Anyway there's loads of things that might help us ie No Aguero, no Tevez, Silva in Ecuador, Nastisic inj etc...I'd rather play them now before they go on a big run of wins and while they're still finding their feet. Grasping at straws? Of course. Is Aguero injured? Why is Silva in Ecuador? Are Spain playing over there like? I think it's better to play them now as well like, gets it out the road and also agree with others who say they have a new manager and players and may not have adapted fully yet. I'm excited for the start of the season and have no expectations whatsoever, unlike last year when i was confident we'd kick on after finishing 5th. Feels more like the pessimistic year before when we began with a 0-0 against Arsenal and went on to finish 5th after having been concerned about how we'd do. Yes and Yes. Augero is back in full training today.

Ever heard of having an opinion, chum ? YOU have one and you seem to believe it's the truth the whole truth and nothing but. ITS YOUR OPINION TOO, nothing more. No more likely to be the truth than my own opinion. "I said I made it up" ? I said nothing of the sort. I said "You're right" don't take that to mean "You're right" in everything. I SAID I read his comments and see another meaning IN them. Ok champ, well you keep looking for hidden meanings, I'll just stick to the black and white Well no - thats my very point. How can you say what the press tells you is actually happening ? Mates in pub ? Rumours in street ? All or none could be utter bull. You just go with what sounds right to YOU. Which is exactly what you're doing, right ? Theres links on the net from as early as April talking of dressing room problems, lack of faith in Pardews tactics, etc Could be true, might not. None of us know for certain. So we have opinions. We just disagree thats all. Nothing bigger than that ! Thats all well and good, but when you say things like 'its evident the players dont like Pardew' and 'even Pardew thinks we'll get hammered off City' thats not having an opinion, thats just making shit up. Its not evident the players dont like him and he never once said he thinks we'll get hammered. Thats all I was saying. Anyway, its a pissy argument, i'm off to watch Breaking Bad.
