As much as everyone loves to go at Gouffran, Ameobi has been woeful here. He hasn't passed to his own team successfully more than 1/10 times. He should definitely be going off. Don't think Ameobi has been bad He keeps dribbling into nowhere, hits the first man with the cross and is wandering around in no mans land once Arsenal counter. That's how I see it anyway. He's still more likely to make something than Gouffran but I just can't see his performance level helping us today. The whole team has been fairly abysmal though. we need a goal, that's more likely to come from Sammy than gouff.

I love the lad, I've not enjoyed watching a player more at our club I don't think. I wish he'd played every minute he was available. but I'm done making excuses for him. to go to a nothing club like hull and get thrown out of the squad , well... what else can you say. his career looks fucked at this point, we will see now if he's that bothered about turning it around.

It's a bit late in his career for that. It doesn't matter if you play well for 80 minutes if you're going to hit self destruct so majorly and jeopardise a great result. but we won the game and he was a major part of it. all I'm saying it's not forget the good he done too. obviously he's an idiot that's goes without saying.

Hes getting a lot of stick rightly or wrongly but the lad played a major part in the win as well with some great blocks, let's not forget that.

one noticeable improvement in our play recently has been the quality of balls into the box from open play. sammi and janmatt in particular. I put that down to the individuals rather than it being an intentional change. great to see balls being fizzed for a change.
