You know what, I don't dislike the bloke. I think he genuinely loves the club, I think he works hard. I just don't think he is good enough.
-
Some of his comments today are really strange. Maybe I'm reading too much into it but it seems to me it's as if he knows he's gone already.
-
That could be our list in about 2 weeks. ] I was thinking the same thing.
-
Looking at the list of candidates, I'd be worried if I was an Everton fan.

What does this even mean? He's good as a late game big dude that takes advantage of tired legs, and pretty useful defending corners and whatnot. It just sucks that he's also the forward option when we're chasing a game. But he isnt. This season I can hardly think of a useful contribution (QPR goal...then i'm struggling). He really doesnt do a job. It's not 100 percent his fault that we're s***. Even if we were good, I'd say he still has late game value as a defensive minded sub, or even as someone that could occupy a defender while a more talented player took advantage of the space. If football had a pick and roll, he'd be amazing at that. The fact that we're shit certainly doesnt help his cause. By that I mean, last season when we were winning games, he'd come on, hold up the ball a bit, even got a couple of assists, it was perfect for him/us. This season, we needed him to contribute in getting goals and be a threat and he more often than not does neither. I mean, when i plays, I NEVER expect him to score. A striker who I dont expect to score - brilliant.

I can totally see us fucking this up. -
From an outsiders point of view, if Moyes goes to Man United I'd be really worried as to what direction they'd (Everton) go. He seems to know how to run that club perfectly, I wonder if someone could come in and do the same job. I could be way off like.
-
Pretty sure a point will do it now but fucking hell man, just go and beat QPR to make sure.

Wallsendmag is one of these blokes who likes to tell everyone he had a season ticket when times were rough - 'much worse than this'. It gives him a feeling of superiority over others who either didnt or were too young too. Its nothing more than a show. He doesnt really believe people are considering giving up their tickets because of this season alone in a 'hissy fit'. People that walk away this summer will be doing so because of what the club has become under Mike and Dekka over the last 5 years. Not just on the pitch but all the antics off it. So please dont tell people what they should or shouldnt do. People will make their choices based on their own reasons. Thats their choice. It doesnt make you a 'better' fan than them. If you keep your ticket for the rest of your days - great, but please dont feel the need to get up on your high horse about it.

Actually can't believe this line, what a f***ing prick you are. The North East at the moment is going through some of the toughest economic hardship for a long time. In case you hadn't noticed, personal capital is not exactly in great supply for many in the region. A lot of people have been priced out of going to watch football full stop - that is a cast iron fact. Many others are unsurprisingly evaluating whether they can justify the expenditure when that money could be spent on other, more important things to make their lives more enjoyable. For you to come on here, to condescend and to spit in the face of fans who are evaluating whether paying large amounts of money every season to watch football is really worth it to themselves and their families in 2013 makes me f***ing sick. I'm not currently in full-time employment as I'm studying for a degree at Univeristy. This season I calculated that I must have spent nearly £2000 on NUFC in home tickets and travelling to the arse end of Europe. This has came directly out of my life savings, money that I could've spent on things to make my life easier (such as a car) or things to make my life more enjoyable (such as a holiday). After I had tallied up the money for the first time since I started following NUFC (not too long, as I'm not a superfan like yourself) I found myself questioning whether it is REALLY worth the expenditure. Over the course of this season I can count the days I've enjoyed on one hand and the actual matches I've enjoyed on a couple of fingers. To have sunk that amount of money into something I haven't truly enjoyed all year in hindsight really has made me think. Ultimately, when push comes to shove the likelyhood is that come next season I'll be there as usual. I'm lucky enough that my family is privaleged enough that we can stretch to the costs of supporting NUFC. However I know that for many others this isn't the case and if come next season they evaluate that it isn't worth it to them then I won't hold it against them, condescend them and insult them because of it. Give your f***ing head a shake for f***'s sake. When he made that man united comment I was going to respond but realised he's just not worth the energy with his sooperfan attitude.

Nail your colours to the mast - where will we finish?

I just don't think there's anything to suggest we will win. The opposite in fact, everything suggest we will draw or lose. We've forgot how to score goals and our away form. . . I think a point is the best we will get.
-
I think its between us and Norwich now to be honest unless Swansea pull something out of the bag on Tuesday. If Norwich get beat and we take at least a point I think it would keep us up. But I think Norwich will take at least a point if not more.
-
Super fan Not a super fan. Just an ordinary supporter that won't stop going to watch his team because he's not keen on the manager. Clearly an alien concept to yourself. 'not keen' The bloke is dragging us into the championship through his incompetence, I quite simply will not be party to it continuing any further and the only form of protest Ashley cares about is witholding cash. If you want to support NUFC becoming a shadow of it's former self just because you've got nothing else to do on a Saturday, that's your prerogative. I will thanks very much. Meanwhile you can come back out from under your rock when things pick up again. For what it's worth I agree with you about Pardew, but I support the club rather than one individual. I'll still be there long after he's gone. Twice you've said this now. 'When things pick up', 'come crawling back' to what exactly? The free flowing football we've been treated to over the past decade? All the cups we keep winning? The Champions league football we play? What are they coming back to exactly?
-
I just have zero faith in us beating QPR and I dont see WBA beating Norwich either. I think we're done.
-
Super fan I was thinking about this 'nufc for lifez!' attitude yesterday. I've had my season ticket for 8 years but if we go down/pardew stays I'll seriously consider giving it up. I'm told by 'elders' that there's been much worse than this. Well, not sure how that helps my decision. Best way I could describe it is, I love the wife. However, if she was a c*** all the time, brought no enjoyment to my life, continually made me miserable, then I'd be off like a shot. Why should NUFC be different? I watch football for enjoyment, something to look forward too. As it stands, the only thing to look forward to is the beer and I really cant see that changing anytime soon. If you don't enjoy it then stop going. Then, when things pick up again you can come crawling back and pretend that you've never been away like one or two who I know who packed in during the Championship season only to come scuttling back last season when we were playing well. Well, I will. Thats exactly what I said in my post. You know, you dont get any brownie points for still going when others dont. Your attitude is a condecending one and i'm really not sure where it will get you.
