Benfica vs. Newcastle United - 04/04/13 @ 8.05pm (ITV4)

We need three wins there to be safe. Doubt we'll win at WBA. Liverpool looked relaxed and could well cause us trouble at SJP as well. We really should be lookng at WBA and QPR (hopefully down by then) as wins, but obviously our away form suggests that wont be the case. Have to hope we can sneak one more away win.

Not this again. What? Because if there's no discent that you hear of near you at the match, then it's the same for the other 45k of regulars around the ground. I'm unsure as to what your point is. Are you agreeing with me? Nope. No where near. I genuinely have no idea what you mean then. Are you hearing a crowd that's upset with pards in the way they were with fat Sam and souness?

Reading aside I'm still not seeing or hearing much discent from the crowd. Maybe it's because we've been winning at home recently.

it's fine, at least you were suggesting laudrup!

Are you the guy who said we should appoint gazza? Didn't say we should appoint Gazza. I said I would take Gazza ahead of Pardew and believe me I'd take anyone ahead of Pardew. You'd have to be a complete baffoon not to be able to do better than Pardew with this squad of players. Do you work for the press by any chance? You seem quite good at twisting quotes to suit yourself. You said you would 'quite happily appoint gazza'. Which makes it difficult to take anything you ever say again seriously. Twisting quotes again. You've missed out the word 'if'. Must be The Sun or Mirror you're with. How does the word 'if' make what you are saying ant less mental? ant less mental???????????????????? Typo. So, gazza. You would happily appoint him 'if' pards was sacked. Is this what you're saying? I hear you're mummy shouting. Time for beddy byes. Mature. Well done for proving to have zero worth to the boards.

I think he's generalising anyone decent would be better, using Gazza to make his point was rather erm......daft. I just wanted him to confirm it for the whole board to see.

Pretty much rewriting the season there wullie

Our home form is pretty impressive. 4 wins and a draw out of last five in all comps. Beat Fulham and we will go level with them. Can't be said enough how big the Fulham game is. Edit. Just realised Fulham play tonight.

I think he will make a point of trying to be the centre of attention.
-
If we can't take six points out of those remaining games then send us down. I'll also just give up with football.

They wanted someone in quick so it was always going to be someone not working. Then what type of message is that for your long term plans? Lets go and get the cheapest out of work option available. Reeks of Short sick of spending money imo.

It's never going to happen. Ever.

Interesting that they are going after someone they dont have to pay for too..

Probably. What you basing it on? Dunno really. He was a canny player (I know thats not a blueprint for a good manager), and I thought he had done canny with Swindon (I know, I know). I just think he will get them organised, and play players in their correct positions, which party pants was slated for. I suppose its just a gut feeling I have I'm thinking the opposite. You're throwing him into a relegation battle with some big egos. He's got no experience managing players like this either. He will inevitably fall out with players early doors. MON despite being s****, was at least respected within the game and you assume his own players. Who is going to respect Di Canio? I dunno, If I'm a Sunderland player now I dont think i'd be particularly impressed knowing this Knobhead is coming in. Was it Di Canio who subbed that young keeper after half an hour or something too?
