Draw away at Brighton is a decent result but that Chelsea result is a blow. Going to be tight and puts a lot of pressure on remaining games. Should do it but nervy!

Could only listen but relieved with a draw. Keeps things tight but we’re in a good position.

Which is also why Chelsea are in the conference league and going to win/ruin that too.

We’ve been class away, one of our best seasons. It’s losing 4 homes games to teams below us (8th downward) that’s been our biggest weakness.

I remember in 02/03 thinking it was going to go to the last day away at West Brom to get top 4. Then in the penultimate game Liverpool lost at home to Man City (Anelka) and Chelsea lost another game we expected them to win and we already had 3rd wrapped up (Viana v Birmingham home). Would be nice again.

He reckons they buy an adult and youth ticket together to get into L7, then return the youth ticket.

A friend was wondering if there might be a loophole where you enter the ballot as an adult + youth for an easy win, then return the youth ticket. Sceptical as feel like I'd have heard - but he reckons that's why there's all these 'returned' youth tickets.

What’s up with all the youth tickets that show up for sale in the resale btw? Doesn’t seem like they can all be ST returns surely?

Don’t agree there, more memorable than loads of them for me - half the Man City and Man U ones blurred into one. Even Chelsea ones have. The final Ferguson one was memorable for how unmemorable it was Remember hardly anything about the last four. Granted the race has been over for a while, but just by not being Man City, and a team I’ve only ever seen do it once before, it’s more memorable and preferable to me.

It was vital we beat Villa too, and we didn’t, so it’s all over anyway.

There’s a possibility of Liverpool not turning up. But the idea of ‘not being able to see it’ Liverpool have lost two games all season and they’re playing a rival, that’s just silly. People get off on being pessimistic here so they can be smug if we fail. Look at the relegation thread in Howe’s first year, was insufferable.

This would be such a gutter for Villa. Got a great chance at a cup and to lose to Palace in the semi, I’d be struggling

This was me til ManU. (Well every game apart from a few where I was away). Just couldn’t manage for ManU, tried til the very end. What a blow to my ego and made me nervous for last two.

Yeah thought this with relegation, not sure how it's normally done? E.g. Last season Forest 32 ---- Luton 26 So was 27 points enough to survive? Well yes if you were a team other than Luton, but not if you were Luton.

Villa just drop 3 points and that means two wins and a draw sees us above them. I think we’ll finish ahead of them. One big thing is seeing if Chelsea put some wins together after that big Fulham win . I think we’ll do it. Not to tempt fate but as tight as it is, it could all end up being over a couple of games before the end if we beat Chelsea. At least in regards to them
