Always tended to think selling to the likes of these, Bayern, PSG is the ideal way to lose a player. Nice profit, won't be playing for a league rival, and makes us look attractive to ambitious players. Happy with this. This is what I hoped would be happening with Isak this summer.

At their place after the final we had a comeback song, which I can never remember, but it rhymed four-nil and Seville with Bill. 'Geordies at home, watching the bill, turned the channel over...Seville...4-0?'. I've asked this before on the board.

This is the most jingoistic I remember feeling, felt so proud when I saw this - didn’t expect it.

Take out pens, and all comps Barnes (17) scored 8 more than the next-highest scorer (Osula, 9). In the league he was our joint-highest (7) non-pen scorer, along with Bruno, Osula, Wolt.

Someone a while ago said this season was reminding them of 03/04. Apart from us scraping 5th that season, the final table is quite reminiscent. Liverpool scraping the last CL place on 60 points - unusually low (tho one 4th, the other 5th). That year you had 6th on 56 pts, this year 57. 7-9th on 53/53/52 then, 54/53/53 now. Lots of bunching up and a lack of quality outside a top group. Also Arsenal won both.

I might suggest you're in the wrong thread mate.

Seems like it’d be mad to sell him, as others have said. It’s one thing to sell a good player to cash in but to do it when there’ll be so many other changes/underperformers seems a big risk that’s not worth it.
