I hope when Pardew said a glimpse of the future he didn't mean Harper in goal and both Ameobi's up front for next 10 years, with us selling Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Krul and Ba - that wouldn't be a good future
-
a wall is a ceramic Tiote. There wrong anyway, he's a frickin cyborg - nothing human about him
-
How long before someone has photoshop open
-
It's like Sholas head on a stick making a fucking fish impression
-
Expect contract in January and Pardew telling us its like 3 new signings
-
He was class yesterday like, best performance I have seen from him. We looked a lot more organised than any other game this season which I think is down to Captain Colo returning
-
We look much tougher in the centre with him in it, yes he has been a bit of a liability so far but fuck me people wanting Perch to start instead of him need to have a think. When he is in the team he covers that midfield and is so valuable winning the ball back for us really. Yes Perch has been decent but the midfield does not look anywhere near as solid with him there. Remember when Tiote was out and everyone was crying for him to be back. It will be the same after the next 3 games

Thing is, one team had no interest in playing football for 71+ minutes. I can understand why, but it's also bloody horrible for the neutral. Yeah I know that, although I quite enjoy watching the underdog come through. But surely the commentators should be less biased than saying "Arsenal just need to be patient and they will score/win", it shows a lack of respect to the other team. It just sickens me the way they go on about Arsenal, Man U, Man City, Chelsea, Spurs etc. It's a total joke really. Norwich obviously played that way to try and hold on to win, fair play in my eyes, however they could have scored a couple more tbh if Holt had thought about it.
-
Could commentators be any more biased towards top teams than these lot, willing Arsenal to score. It's like teams outside top 4 are just there to make up numbers, sickening tbh
-
Big for Sho, with 7 in 12. 2 scheduled games against the fuckers, go figure
-
So 21/10/12 - 2+1+1+0+1+2=7 13/04/13 - 1+3+0+4+1+3=12 Shola will score in a Derby, coincidence ?
-
Need him, reckon we have missed him so much. Only had him for 1 league game haven't we ?
-
Doubt the mackems will applaud him tbh, don't they sympathise with the Serbians (Darren Bents mother will testify to that)
-
Cech Ivanovic Bramble Terry Cole/Evra Catts for me like Gerrard Parker Suarez RVP Rooney/Owen

He needs to play 4-3-3 for the good of the team, more fluid by far. Jonas cannot play left wing anymore he looks more suited to running through centre or left back these days and Cabaye plays much better with the freedom to roam. We need to sacrifice one of Cisse or Ba if Ba won't play on the left. No way should Cisse be playing on right midfield ffs not good enough. Same as shola, what's the point. Think Pardew needs to start next game with Ben Arfa/Ba/Obertan in front 3 (Yes I did just say that )
-
Will just take time, the team have been shit so no surprise a new player is struggling. Always going to take time to adapt
-
They are so fucking tragic, back in the dark ages and struggling to get off the first rung of evolutionary ladder
-
I think he gets more space in front 3 as further up. Struggles when closed in 4-4-2 really
-
What he adds defensively can't be underrated but thats not what you want if he plays on the wing, we were more creative last night on the left than for some time, would consider starting Ferguson and Santon on left against Manchester. We know Pards will go 4-4-2 so may as well have Ben Arfa and Ferguson on each wing.

We just can´t bossing games. Though that the first 20 was just what I wanted to see. Definitely the best 20 minutes for the season. Then suddenly we stopped playing and Bordeaux got invited to start creating chances while we just was defending - Why?! We were the much better team. Still we just can´t control a game at home. I just can´t get this, and never will. But maybe I just should be happy that we tried to play and that players like Cabaye really was up for it? We just need to build play up nice and steady, requires quite a lot of movement from midfield to try and destroy the other teams shape which ultimately creates chances. With Cabaye, Anita, Ben Arfa we should be able to pull players out of position to create space for others. We did well in parts last night and Cabaye's ball to Obertan was sublime.
-
They were serving in Platinum club for the qualifier game, must just be different for Group games as they were not serving in east stand last night.
-
Jonas is finished as a winger tbh, no creativity from there really. Think he is best in centre mid or free role just ahead
-
Needs to stop shitty stepovers and learn to use the attributes he has got. He is fast as fuck and needs to just be direct at them and get a cross in, has a good first touch, but terrible when he slows ball down and seems to get muddled up quite quickly and loses the ball. Thought he played well tonight though both forward and back, maybe more suited to European games (think its called shola syndrome)

On metro gonna be youth tastic tonight i reckon, fookin flids
